"I didn't spy on your thoughts and in no way did i mean to anger you. this imp here saw your face, your mood rather, change and she is really protective of me. i can't help it if she did that out of her own free will, and i can punish her later.as far as i know she didn't look into your memories or anything, just caught that one thought you had of me and stopped there" Red tried to explain. she looked at the imp with a stern look on her face and started to talk to it in another language. you couldent really understand what she was saying, but she did have a sort of angry tone in her voice.

Rose stared at Red with disbelief, already running through both Red's and the imp's memories. "I warn you, if what you say is not true, I will find out" she said as she closed in on Red, each word emhazised with a blast of power hitting Red's mind and making it hurt as if she had a headache, only worse. When Rose was about 10 feet away from the half-wolf she jumped towards Red, phazing into a crimson fox while in the air. She made sure she went slow enough for Red to be able to jump away. She was only going to frighten, for now.
((O.o this is turning into a real rampage. Though I guess Rose's overreacting, but I just felt like getting mad for once xP))

Red put a mental lock on the memories she didn't want anybody to see, her childhood wasn't exactly the best. other than that her mind was an open book. "i suggest not going through my mind too much, there's a demon inside me that i really don't want anybody-" but she couldent finish because she saw her jump and turn into a fox. Red quickly turned into a jet black wolf with red markings all over and sidestepped the jump.

Rose landed hard and then turned her head, slowly, towards Red. She had heard Red's thoughts "A demon won't scare me. And I've seen worse childhoods than you can imagine." She said and twitched the sides of her mouth up somewhat as if she was smiling. "You know what Kitsune are famous for except tree-bending?" she asked and then answered her own question "Memory-stealing. Cuz most Kitsune are unable to feel real emotions in their later years, they have developed an amazing technique of taking other people's memories for themselves. You'd have to be training for years before you could keep your memories away from us. " Rose charged at Red again, flailing all her eight tails. She moved a little faster than last time, but still too slow to do any real damage
((It's okay, I had to go for a walk with my dog, anyways.))

Red sidestepped the attack once again with amazing speed. "actually i have known that, my father told me about how he was surprised when the first kitsune he met knew his name, his kids names, and what he had for breakfast without even getting to know him. he's the one who taught me how to lock my memories but im not all that good at it" she said quickly, getting ready to sidestep once more just in case

Rose concentrated for a second on reading Red's last memories, she was a lot better at protecting her memories than Rose would have thought. But after some time she knew that Red had been telling the truth. Rose sprang towards Red at full speed then sidestepped in the last second, phazing while she did so, and ended up just behind Red in human form. "So you told the truth. thanks." she said "But you just try to stop reading people's minds, even if it's for good. It only pisses people off and you'll end up killed"
Rose took a step away and tried to calm her nerves. That was a close one. She would have to be more careful from now on. Always stay wary that someone might try to read her mind, and always make sure she had enough Chi. Finally she swept by Red's mind one last time and took all memories about Rose's thoughts away. "It's better this way" she whispered

"i suppose so" Red said and seeing Rose turn into her human form she turned back into her human form. she pet her imp Iki and sighed as she felt some memories get taken, but she didn't mind. they werent important memories about her family so she was okay with it. she finished eating one rabbit and gave the imps the other two. she happily ate the food and all that was left behind were bones and three rabbit hides

Rose kept watching Red while she ate the last of her rabbit. "What an extraordinary girl" she thought. Even though Rose had just taken away some of her memories-She knew Red knew cuz she had felt her emotions- and Rose had just attacked her, she acted as if nothing had happened and enjoyed her meal. "Sorry for that, all of it" Rose said, she had begun feeling bad about what she had done, as she always did. "Really, sorry" she said

"its okay, ive been in worse. it was actually pretty fun" she said. "in wolf society's, you'll get into lots of fights,mostly play fights, so im used to it" she added. she started putting the skeletons back together and made them stand up like real rabbits, and suddenly one of them started moving again. she could do this only because the spirits were still bound to the bones and were not able to pass on

Rose stared at the skeletons for some time before answering "Isn't fighting all the time, like, tiring?" she said, while walking closer to the skeletons, trying to figure out how Red was doing it. She tried with one of the other skeletons, but nothing happened.

"it used to be, but ive gotten used to it so i always have enough energy to at least dodge" she repled, and she stared oddly as Rose tried putting together one of the other skeletons. she just let her do it, and she looked at the live skeleton she had. if she kept it a demon could take the body. she had to transfer it as she always did with the skeletons. she put her finger on its head and said a few words in another language and darkness wrapped around it, and it vanished without a trace

"How? what?" Rose said as one of the skeletons dissapeared in some darkness. She had long ago given up trying to make her own skeleton walk.

"oh um well the spirits didn't exactly pass on right so i was able to make the skeletons come to life by connecting the pieces of the spirit that were in the bones, like a puzzle. but if i leave them like that a demon could take the bodies or they could become demons themselves, so i sent them to the second world where the spirits will be cleansed and passed on" she explained to Rose.

Queen Silver re-entered the counseling room and considered the two women chatting. She decided to put on her 'haughty' face - neither of the women looked very... important. However, she couldn't be too unkind to them, for the risk of tribal war.
"Well?" She demanded as she entered rather flashily. "Have you two decided on the price of peace?"
