He nodded as he licked some more of the goo out of the tube. "It's really good cause it sugary but sour and really good." It had also turned his tongue blue but that was beside the point.

It was a good thing Kaleb hadn't noticed the blue yet, he would have taken it as a sign that the stuff was definitely not healthy. The mage was trying to be adventurous though, since even as a pup he had had very little experience with candy, so he reached for the second tube and opened it.
After a bit of hesitation and a deep breath to firm his resolve, Kaleb licked up some of the goo. It was immediately followed by a surprised noise and a face that almost resembled a wince.

He snickered slightly as Kaleb winced at it. "Too sour? or something? or what?" He liked a little more out of his own tube.

It took Kaleb a minute to get over the taste, but when he did he gave Vivace an almost pathetic look. "I-I didn't expect it to be that sour." When Vivace had said sour, the most experience Kaleb had with that particular flavor was naturally tart apples. Needless to say he had been quite shocked.

"I guess it's a aquired taste or something .... i'll eat it if it's too sour for you." He loved the tart things, even more than he loved the sugary treats, so he wouldnt mind eating more.

Kaleb tried some more of the sugary sour liquid, but his reaction wasn't any less dramatic. His eyes watered a bit this time, and he stuck out his now blue tongue. "I think maybe it'th too thour." He said quietly.

He snickered at Kaleb's tongue even though his own probably looked the same. "Eat some more of the gummies.. that should make the sour go away i think." It usually worked for him so it should work for Kaleb.

The mage did as he was told, scooping out another gummy octopus, blinding orange this time, and sticking the entire thing in his mouth. As he chewed on it, he wiped the moisture out of the corners of his eyes with the back of his paw. When he finished off the gummy he gave Vivace a sheepish smile. "It had a nice flavour, but it was just so sour..."

"Did the gummy's help?" Capping the sour tube he dug the puzzles out of the bag and poked at one of them.

"I can't tell," Kaleb said, frowning slightly. "I'm not sure if the gummy had an effect or if it was simply due to elapsed time, but I wouldn't mind another one." He smiled, and then noticed the puzzle Vivace was poking at. Picking it up, he saw that it was one of those little puzzles where the goal was to make the pieces fit together to assemble a 3D shape. "This one should be fun, did you want to try it first?"

"No, no no .. i'll just look stupid." He grinned sheepishly. "I cant do puzzles, I'm bad at them unless they are the picture ones." Thoes he could do but that was about it.

He stick his tongue out at Kaleb. "And you didnt even rescue me right." He started snickering as he remembered the little show they'd put on at the toy store.

It was only at that point Kaleb noticed how bright blue Vivace's tongue had become. His eyes widened. "W-What happened to your tongue?" He asked quickly.

Trying to look down his muzzle at his tongue he noticed it was blue. "Ohh...that's cause of the candy. It does that .. like the green colored stuff would have turned it green."
