LilChibiusa We are going to be having a meebo meeting soon, and it has come to my attention that there are still several people who are unfamiliar with meebo. So, I'm posting this just in case! I know it might not seem like we've gotten much done, but we have been working our tails off in the planning guild. Our room has opted to have a steampunk theme in the City of Time, perfect for our slothful and zealous hosts! Just in case you are a lurker and have been wondering what this room has been up to, now you know! biggrin

The plot you guys already have looks spectacular. 3nodding I see someone is suppose to travel into a space-rip...Maybe I can be the "Hostess of Space" My role would be living in this Space rift and try to help as much as I can to help bring back said character back to the Time City? ninja Just a thought. I mean, I would assume there should be somebody protecting the space if it calls for Space Ripping... ninja Shoot. If any of the other Rooms will be needing a Space-Ripping I can guide people to where they desire to look for said friends. ninja Just a thought... sweatdrop I was actually asking if you wanted to do art or roleplay, but that works too. blaugh Actually, we do have a co-host spot open because one of our own disappeared, so you might be able to take that role. However, I have already asked another person in our planning guild if she would like to do it, but I haven't heard back from her yet. Stick around and post a bit, and we should be able to place you appropriately within a few days. 3nodding

I just talked with a couple others, and I think I know how it's going to work. If GreenInkling (a veteran roleplayer for the annual ball and a new mother) chooses to play Diligence, then you can play the role of the messenger. We had a messenger character, but he just found out that he was going to be overseas at that time with his work, and that he won't have internet access. If GreenInkling refuses the role, then you can play Diligence. Either way, you're covered. Just wait and find out which role you'll get. Btw, could you fill out this little form for us? Everyone filled one out, and it's just a nice little way to get to know more about you. biggrin

Why do you want to be a co-host: Well, once I was a part of GCD's Masquerade Ball hosted by Captain Wickit. 3nodding I like what you guys do and the fact that Gaia provides items for this particular User-Run Gaia Event just makes it oh so awesome! heart
Why should you be chosen for a Co-Host Position: As I've said before, I was part of GCD's Masquerade Ball, so I know a little bit about User-Run event. I admit, my Role-playing skills have been lacking, but with a good enough background to the character I will be playing, or if I use my own, I will gladly stand up to the challenge.

You were a guest in last year's ball? Great! I'm glad to know that you're already familiar with what the ball is. biggrin
I don't know too much about the GCD Masquerade Ball, but Gaia doesn't provide items for the annual balls that we do. We have to do fundraising and all ourselves. We're almost finished with an art auction, so I think we're going to be in great shape financially.
That weekend I mentioned is the date for this year's ball. Do you think you can be on pretty regularly during the ball eventhough you will be on vacation at that time? My family would sooner let me get a tattoo than play on the internet during a family trip. sweatdrop I'm really glad to have you, and I hope everything works out okay.

Ooo! Share cosplay pics! xd I LOVE going to anime cons. I'm going to be going to AWA in September. I don't think I will be cosplaying for that one, but I might if I can find a job and get some money to order to a costume with.
We're already going to give you a part. Now it's just a question of which one you will get. Moo was supposed to be the messenger, but he is going to be gone because of work. Flutist was supposed to be Diligence, but she disappeared on us. So, that means that we have two roles open. If we can only fill one of them, we're going to fill the role of Diligence because the story can't function without that character. We can make do without a messenger, but it would still be more fun with one.
Which room did you hang out in last year? I was a co-host in The Celebration room, and I played Ariadne.

I was back and forth. 3nodding I chilled in an area where they had a person quoting people on how God-Like or Goddess-Like a Gaian looked. ninja Although, I think I posted in some of the Rooms... ninja I remember Poseidon's room very much. 3nodding I think I hung out in Athena's because she is my 3rd-favourite God/dess. Artemis and Apollo are my All-time favourites. I think I also saw Aries and Persephone. I could be wrong... sweatdrop
And, well, I have a Work in Progress of my cosplay. 3nodding Just got to find the right shoes. xp

Wait, don't you need to find out which character you are playing before you make an avi for it? Also, the role of Diligence is male (simply to keep the male/female ratio working), while the messenger can be either gender. Just hold on a bit. If Green doesn't respond soon, I'm just going to call her up at her house. blaugh
The room I was in had Dionysus and Demeter. But, I guess if you spent time in the room with Poseidon, you also spent some time with Poseidon's wife, who happened to be played by our very own Mousse Chocolat. biggrin
