She didn't hear him. She was already fast and deeply asleep, the rest punctuated by only fleeting, pleasant, dreams. When she woke again, it was slowly, and with a little regret. She hadn't slept that well in weeks... She muttered incoherently and rolled over, burrowing into the pillow.

Bryan smiled as he stepped into the room with a tray in his hands. She was still asleep. He chuckled softly and sat down in the large armchair. He gazed into the fire, his thoughts far far away.

"Mm." Lina's nose twitched and she opened her eyes, sniffing. She shifted so that the organ wasn't impeded by the very comfortable pillow and sniffed again. She sat up and looked around, wondering where the smell came from, only now realising just how hungry she was. Three days? She could believe it. She saw Bryan and tilted her head, wondering at the look on his face.
Her stomach took its own interests to mind and growled hungrily, nevermind that Lina wanted to figure out what he was thinking.

Marsel_lilas Still cautiously watchig his form she remained silent, turning her head to lay it against her knees, that were drawn up to her chest, her arms wrapped around them. She felt too weak to even reply, not that she even wanted to. Being trapped in the room was serving its purpose--she was helpless, terrified and almost hopeless. She didn't know what was going to happen, nor the true reason she had been captured in the first place. "Get up. You are very weak and need to learn to stand up for yourself." He gave her a cold stare for a couple minutes and opened his mouth. "Your food is downstairs, and WHEN you come, make sure you clean up when you are finished." He walked out and left the door open. "Once he got down the stairs, he yells back. "Your food isn't going to stay hot forever."

He turned his head at the sound of a growling stomach. "Hungry?" He smiled brightly and carried the warm tray of food over to the side of the bed. He put the tray down beside Lina and gently pulled her up into a sitting position. "Before you eat, let me check on your head." He gently reached behind her head and prodded the bump on it. "Does this hurt?"

She flinched, ducking away from his hand. "Yes," She replied. "It does! Please don't!" her arm came up in an instictive defensive position. Her eyes locked on his face through their corners.

He held his hands up in front of him in a placating gesture.
"Okay, we'll avoid the bump for now."
He held out a padded bandage.
"Would you prefer to put it on, or should I?"

She eyed it, then sighed, dropping her guard. "I'd prefer neither, but if it's going on, I wouldn't trust myself to do it." Lina settled back to where she had been before he'd touched the lump. Her eyes studied him, his movements, and gestures, and her ears worked on the intonations of his voice. But for some reason, she couldn't bring herself to stay suspiscious.

"Okay then."
He reached back carefully and gently applied the badage to the back of her head.
He grinned. "Next time, I'd suggest a helmet."
Before she could reply he held out the tray of food.
"I bet you're hungry!"

She made a face at him, and considered jibing him back, and teetered on deciding against it. She did eye the tray warily, as close as she came to actually saying something. "I am." The teen replied.
It wasn't really fair that he inserted something she couldn't argue with between his tease and any reply she could have given, but she was hungry, and arguing could wait until she'd eaten.
Besides, if she stayed much longer she had a way to get back at him.

Before Lina began to eat, Bryan took a small croissant off of the tray.

She would have prefered tossing it at him, but whatever. She looked at it, then started nibbling, watching him curiously. He interested her, for some reason.
Possibly because he knew where there was a bathtub where she could take a bath, which she was becoming more interested in as she ate, and quit being hungry. Primitive, but true.

Shock ran through her body and mind as his words finally pentrated her thoughts. He was releasing her from the room! She owuldn't have to be imprisoned any longer! She could go out! But as she tried to move her arms and legs she found that lack of food and the effects that being shut in a room had a semi-strong hold on her. She felt weak and moving even just a few inches took concentration and energy she didn't even really have anymore.
But she managed to pull herself to sit on her knees and then push herself up to her feet very slowly. It took several moments, but she managed to find her balance once more and then walked over to the doorway. Holdong her breath she past the threshold and then let it out noisly. RElief and atability began to rush through her, her posture straightening and already she began to feel better.

Li shudderd from the cold chill that ran through his veins. He felt the cold air run through the house, filling every room with a dark chill. The temperature always meant danger or something is about to happen, but Li ignored it. "Your dinner is getting cold, so I suggest you hurry down," Li said to make sure she was still up there. Every step he took echoed through the room, making him shudder. For some reason, he felt colder and more cautious when he walked into the next room.

She raised her gaze when he spoke again, wondering why he was trying to hurry her so much. She would eventually make it down. It was his fault that she was having problems anyway.....
But while she slowly and steadily went down the stairs she noticed that the entire area seemed really cold. She hugged herself as she began to truly feel the affects, goosebumps raising on her arms. Looking around she wondered why it was so cold, it wasn't winter afterall and she was pretty sure that this place was regulated in temperature wise...or so she thought. Maybe someone was making it cold themselves.....
She reached the kitchen easily enough, finding a still-steaming plate off hot food on the table. A glass of water sat in front of it and a knife and fork on either side. Hungrily she slid into the chair and picked up the fork in her right hand. She was cautious though, one could never know what could have been put in food, but she dug into the mashed potatoes that sat heaped to one side.
