Del whirled away upon seeing that Stveve was as safe as he'd ever be. He started walking towards his cabin, unfortunately he fell down after the first step. With a grunt he picked himself up and by pure will power along trudged back to his cabin. All that magic had really taken it out of him.

Arianna walked into the woods and climbed a high tree, super annoyed.
Todd climbed the tree next to her and looked at her, "what's wrong?"
Arianna didn't look at him, she knew what was running through his mind and she didn't like it. "nothing okay?" she said climbing to another tree.
Todd followed her, but she moved again, so he kept following her always just a branch away. "I'm sorry okay? I never met to hurt you! but you didn't have to go and become a Huntress because of me and our faults!"
Arianna stopped cold, "our faults?!" she whispered angrily, her voice growing louder as her anger mounted. "How am I a part of this? It's your fault to begin with! The only fault I have in this mess is ever falling in love with you to begin with so don't tell me that I have more than one fault in this!"
Todd grabbed her arm, "I don't have many faults either! It's not my fault that that girl kissed me! She approached me and attacked me! You've got to believe me Arianna!"
Arianna turned around to face him and said softly and coldly, "I would believe you if you haven't done it before! I know you've cheated on your other girlfriends and I knew that it was a matter of time before you cheated on me!"
"But that's not true! They are the ones who cheated on me then turned the story around! Please please believe me!" Todd said pleading, looking truthfully into her cold eyes.
Arianna saw truth in his deep, brown, lovable eyes. "Fine I believe you, but don't ever do that again got it?"
Todd nodded and took her two hands, "yes," he whispered softly, looking into her eyes.
Arianna backed away, "no way, we are just friends Todd. Remember I'm a Huntress and that can't happen any more.
"Can't you stop being a Huntress?" Todd asked walking close to her again.
"So you want me to die? The only way I stop being a Huntress is if I get killed in battle, why don't you go ask Artemis for another option because that's all I see."
Todd nodded, "when I see her I'll ask." Todd said getting closer to her. He saw her nod but then she wasn't there she had begun their game. A game of cat and mouse that they would always play in the woods, the winner getting what he/she wanted as a prize. Todd followed her, but she was always just out of reach.

Finally Todd caught Arianna's hand and pulled her over to him.
Arianna smirked, "so what shall your reward be for catching me?"
Todd looked at her, "can I have any reward I want?"
Arianna rolled her eyes, "Todd, you've known the rules since forever, you made them remember?!?"
Todd nodded and said, "yea well, the reward I want is..." he trailed off mumbling the last words.
Arianna heard what he was trying to say and they both sat down on the branch of a tree, "you can have your reward when I'm no longer a Huntress, got it?"
Todd nodded and said, "do you know where Artemis is so I can ask her about it?"
Arianna shook her head, "no idea."
Todd looked down and the two where silent.

Todd gasped, he found a way. "Arianna to stop being a Huntress you must break your oath of forswearing love forever!"
Arianna laughed, "Sweetie that already happened."
"Oh, I've wondered why the silver glow around you has been wavering." Todd said as the silver glow went out, then burned bright, and kept repeating the same pattern.
Arianna looked at herself in a pool and gasped, it was true! "Now what will make the silver glow go out all together?"
Todd took her hand and looked at her, "my prize maybe?"
"What was your prize again?" Arianna asked him, blinking her loving eyes.
"A kiss." Todd said looking into her deep, beautiful eyes.
"Well that certainly would break the oath! But what if something would happen to you or me? Like one of the Gods or Goddesses taking revenge? It has happened in the past! I would not want you to end up like the others! Contrariwise I wouldn't want to end up like the others either!" Arianna said, tears starting to well up in her eyes, she wasn't scared to die she just didn't want anything to happen to Todd for he was mortal.
"Well we would have to pray, sacrifice, and hope." Todd said, "come, I'll get a bonfire ready and you go get some animals, heard them here before killing them." He said and she nodded, they then went their separate ways.. for now.

All of the sudden Arianna collapsed on the forest floor, unconscious.
Todd sensed something was wrong and searched for Arianna. He saw her, she looked very much dead. He ran to her and sat down next to her, he had been taught in medicines and healing. He grabbed her wrist and searched for her pulse, he felt it beating faintly and breathed a sigh of relief. He remembered how earlier she had showed him the house of Lurlina and he picked her up. He carried her to the house and entered it. He put her on the sacrifice table and looked down at her, she was very pale and placid. Tears welled up in his eyes and splashed against her ivory skin. He walked to the potions room and gathered as much potions as he could carry and brought them back to the sacrifice table, and he started trying to revive Arianna.
In Arianna's head she was in a totally different wood, she walked through the woods and came upon a clearing. One side was black, signifying death, and Todd was standing in the center of the blackness beckoning to her. On the other side it was light and sunny with Artemis standing in the center. She didn't know where she wanted to go, to death and love or to life and friendship. The most practical would be the life and friendship, but she started walking to the dark side. Before she got there she thought about what would happen to her and Todd if she went there and switched sides with a great pain. At least she would be alive and Todd would be in her life on the side. Once she had gone over to the light side she woke up. She saw Todd and smiled, but when she saw his hopeful expression she shook her head.
Todd saw her open her eyes and the silver glow around her went out. He sighed in relief but all of a sudden was blinded when the silver glow burst back into life brighter than ever. "Why Arianna why?"
"Todd, I did it so that there would be no Romeo and Juliet, we can be together forever. But in just staying as friends, think you can handle that?"
Todd nodded and left the cottage, annoyed but the slightest bit relieved that he would be able to see her alive and well everyday. He left the forest, wanting to drown out his sorrows in places far from Arianna, far from the girl that had broke his heart. He didn't know how many times she could break his heart before he died of heartbreak.

Dionysus had sensed some major magic going on in his woods. As he walked through the forest, searching to see who, or what, had been messing with hings they shouldn't have, Dionysus espied Arianna. The girl looked rather peaky. Pale, as if she had almost died. He also noticed the absence of her ever present Todd. As a god of nature, he could have interrogated the plants for information. However, Dionysus would give the girl a chance to explain.
"What did you do?" Dionysus asked as he approached her. Not 'what happened', or 'did you see any magic', but 'what did you do'. He was calm, collected. Unfortunately for the both of them, he had the niggling feeling his composure wouldn't last.

Arianna looked at the God and sighed deeply. "It's a long story full of pain and heart ache." she said, then set to work telling him the whole story from the begging to the end. "That's the story," she said a little sadly to Dionysus.
((not going to repeat everything I said because it's a lot to write and rewrite and it just takes too much time.))

((Well its a good thing I know how to read, then. rolleyes mrgreen ))
Dionysus refrained from patting the girl on the back, instead he summoned up a plate of assorted fruits. "Here," he said kindly, "you look like you're in need of sustenance." What to tell the girl? ow to comfort the both of them? He didn't know, relationships weren't that explosive where he was concerned. Then again, who in Hades was he kidding?

((good thing! OMFG FRUIT! sorry, random fruit is funny for me! jaja))
Arianna nodded and took one of the fruits, it was an apple and she bit into the crunchy skin of the delicious red fruit. The apple was juicy but at the same time crispy, like a food and a drink at the same time. She soon finished off the apple and started on a peach.

Dionysus left the tray levitating in the air, giving Arianna questioning look. "Two things: Where is Todd, and would you like me to talk with Artemis?" he asked, voice stale with an emotional tiredness that was a surprise coming from the wine god.

Arianna finished the peach and took a mango, before taking a bite she said, "I have no idea where Todd is, and that would be great if you could talk to Artemis for me." she smiled weakly, then took a huge bite of the mango, devouring the fruit immediately for she was very hungry and weak.

Dionysus nodded in understanding. He turned, ready to search out for Todd. Before leaving however, he asked in an innocently nonchalant voice, "And what would you wish I say to Artemis?"

Arianna looked a little coldly at the God, not meaning to act so coldly to him but she was just tired and had no patience for games. "Ask Todd, he should know more than me. Now if you'll excuse me I must catch some rest I'm dreadfully tired you know." she said then turned around and disappeared into the blackness of the forest.
