Li was mad at her, and himself for not being perceptive and locking the door right. He tried going through his memories on what he did wrong, to let her escape her room. Another question that riddle him is why did she try to run away. She surely had a million ways to get out besides the door. He went downstairs to see if everything was in order.

She was silent while the demon went down and then after a few moments hesitantly started following him. Her footsteps were quiet, noiseless across teh floor as she walked, her eyes downcast. She wasn't sure why she was following him, but even then omething caught the corner of her eye.
She stopped in mid-step and turned towards what had caught her attention. There was a very small room off to the side tha tlooked neglected. She started going towards it, curiously about it and then stopped in the doorway. What she was looked almost like a small shrine. Nothing looked out of place, even with a fine layer of dust covered everything. A small table sat bweside an old rocking chair that held a single book. Across the room there was a window with old lace curtains that didn't flutter in the wind that was caused by her movement. Beside the window was another asmall round table with dried roses in a vase.
A bookshelf stood tall against the far wall, holding books and various little knickknacks and bookstops inside. She wondered who this room belonged to and why it was no longer used.

Li appeared right behind Serenity, not making a single sound. "Are you having fun touring the place or are you finished." He also looked in the room, noticing that nothing has changed, save the dust and cobwebs. for so long he hasnt read a single book, rocked a sing time, or even entered the room. It held so many memories about the outside world to him, so many personal things. "Come on, back to your room." He dragged her to her room throwing her in there and locking the room.

She nearly fell when he started dragging her and was too shocked for a real reaction. But the moment he threw her into her room she managed to catch herself before hitting the floor and bounced back up to her feet. She turned towards the now closed door and yelled, "Why must I be locked in this room once again?! I have given you my word that I will not run again. Once my word is given you should learn to know that I will never ever go back on it!"

Li heard what she yelled out from her room, and so he walked to the base of the stairs. "In this life, I have learned to trust no one but my kind. Even though we are exiled, we work together because of what we are. Your kind will snitch for money, prizes, or even pleasure." He remembered how many times his trust was destroyed by so many outsiders, of how his life was to become one of them. Now, his dream is no more.

GRumbling she turned away from the door and flopped onto the bed. She didn't know what she was going to do, but she knew that she couldn't remain in the room for very long without turning into a completely terrified young woman who couldn't do much for herself. It wasn't really her fault that she had a fear of being locked in a room...it wasn't her fault that she was also clauterphobic. It was just the way she was. There was nothing she could do about it at the moment.
Sighing she rolled over onto her stomach, laying with her chin resting on her folded arms and looked out the window in front of her. The day was clear, only a few clouds here and there. She wished she could o outside, but hell she wished she could just wander through the house. This house was huge and she loved exploring old mansions. If only she could get the demon to let her out. She had alreayd given her word that she wouldn't run away again. Why couldn't he believe her?

Li entered his bed room and plopped on the bed. He stared at the cieling trying to go to sleep but something bothered him. So many questions ran through his mind. "What if I let her out? Can I trust her," he thought trying to bring logic together. He closed his eyes and he entered his dream state. Everything escaped him there, even his deepest fears. He didn't dream about a thing. It was just him and a vast, empty space inhis mind.
Hours probably passed by before he fully woke up. It was partially dusk outside, but he didn't want to go to sleep again. He walked up to Serenitys door and knocked a few times. "Go take a shower or something, but don't go to far." He unlocked the door and walked downstairs. Maybe just this one time he will let her go for a few minutes.

She had been dozing where she had been laying the instant she heard the door unlock. At the demon's words she opened her eyes, wide awake almost and raised her head slightly off her arms. She can't beleive she had fallen asleep, but she had been terribly bored adn was trying to escape from her predicament just for a little while. It worked yes, but she didn't know what else Li had in mind for her. WAs he just going to lock her up agian after she cleaned up and was out of the room for a few minutes?
Pushing herself into a sitting position she rubbed at her eyes for a moment before slowly climbing out of the bed. Cautiously she went to the door, opening it slightly and peeking out. She saw a brief flash of color going downstairs and knew that it was him. Tilting her head to the side in curiosty she waited until he was well out of ear-shot and then quietly walked of the room, keeping the door from making noises as she went out. She didn't want to draw his attention anytime soon. At least not until she felt clean.
Finding a bathroom was simple. Finding soap and shampoo and towels were simple as well. But a comb and other clothes? Where would she find those? She had nothing else to wear at the moment and she knew that even if she washed her own clothing she would have nothing to wear until they were dried.
After several moments she shrugged and would decide about that later. Stripping down she turned on the water and gathered some lavender smelling soaps and shampoos before climbing into the very large and luxurious tub.
