Her crying stopped immediately; it was as if Val could feel Tira freezing up, even behind the door.
"W, what...?" she called out, wiping her face, "J-j, just a moment, I, I have, to, to get dressed..."
She covered herself with her sheet, trying her hardest to steady her breathing; she was still shaky.
She had forgotten that she had asked Val to check up on her. She most certainly hadn't expected him to see THIS side of her; she had to hurry and freshen up. She had wanted Elrohir, short, sweet and simple... she didn't want Val to feel bad.
At least one of them came through for her.
"Just give me a moment..."

Tira eventually did peek out, in a pale grey dress, her hair disheveled. She had tried to put it up and failed horribly; she'd probably need the servants or someone to help her.
In truth, she was a mess. Besides her earlier sobs, it was no difficult task to tell she had been crying for quite a while---her cheeks and eyes were as puffy as mushrooms. Save for their reddened color, it wouldn't have been hard to mistake them for such.
She quickly lowered her eyes, aware of how she must have appeared. "Ro never showed up." she whispered, unsure of whether or not she wanted to come out, "I've waited all morning for him.... I.... I don't understand...but... but I guess..."
She sighed deeply, uncertain. "I guess that's his loss, isn't it.... perhaps we should get breakfast, and dip into that wine of yours again. I'm thirsty."
She stepped out, instinctively moving to him and hugging the demon tightly.
Her spirits were low. It was pointless to try and hide it.
She'd probably mope all day until the pain wore off.

"I didn't know you were a hair stylist." Tira murmured, trying to change the subject and be cheerful. Her Elven side was sorely outmatched however, her demonic half perfectly content to sink into such a dour state. "I still want the wine, then, if you're so willing. Just don't leave me. I don't think it's a good idea for me to stay alone today."
Her Elven side was still perfectly capable of killing herself; thinking about it, her two halves made an impeccable team in self-sabotage. While her demonic side thrived on this sort of thing, plunging her Elven half into this sort of darkness was suffocating. She could drown herself in her sorrows and enjoy every second of it, thanks to both sides. She didn't want to see how deep the rabbit hole went.
Knowing her she'd never pull herself out of it. She was already trying to force herself to eat when in reality she had very little to no appetite.
Where was he? What had she done to drive him away, besides the obvious?
He'd never forgive her for that, she should've understood. It wasn't his fault that she was a traitorous woman incapable of loyalty.
This was her fault. She had hurt Ro, and in turn burned herself severely.
All the while it was as if Val could watch her thoughts playing out, the downward spiral tightening. She was going to crash before mid-afternoon at this rate.
Time to keep her occupied, something Val was very capable of doing.
"A glass of wine with my eggs." she decided softly. "Maybe. I don't know."

Tira nodded. "Almost as strong as the wine, too. Good call." she sighed deeply. At least now she was offering him a slight smile. "Thank you, Val..."
She leaned her head on him as they walked, closing her eyes slightly. "To be honest, I never thought that you would be the reliable one... Surprise surprise, hmmm?"

Tira was actually surprised by this, tilting her head at him. "Really? Then why are you even here if you had doubts? Power, seduction? What, and why? Give me a good reason why I should stay with either of you..."

Ok, she might've been overreacting a bit, but she was in a panicky position as it was.
She'd rather be miserable alone than let someone use her.

Tira softened and quieted, thinking it over. "Well... I'm glad you are." she sighed. "I really don't know how I'm going to handle the next week... What if I see him around?? He doesn't teleport like we do. Perhaps... perhaps we should leave? What do you think??"

Tira sighed, nodding. "I suppose you're right." she agreed, "But still.... this is going to be awkward. Maybe I'll be lucky and he'll stay away from now on, like today..." she bit her lip. "I really couldn't take it."
The next few months was going to be extremely difficult.
"Seeing him all the time would kill me I think."
