Amary had been watching the attempted tail manuvers with interest, entranced at how HIS tail could actually bend. Her tail didn't bend, it just flopped. Pr she could wiggle it by flipping the base, but all the hairs did whatever they wanted. It looked almost like Sigao could make his whole tail move as he wanted...even into her face.
She wasn't expecting to be poked, as her round-eyed stare of surprise told. But it didn't hurt, so she wasn't that concerned. Indeed, she was amused, as her impish grin told....right before she nipped at the offending tail. THAT was a way to see if it was like a limb, if it could feel!

He hadn't expected to have his tail nipped though he should have after playing with his siblings. Yelping slightly he jumped and twisted around so he could bat at her with a wing.
That wasn't very nice but then again he had poked her with it. At least now he knew that he could use his tail almost like he could his wings! It was like having an extra appendage that he'd never thought of before. It was going to be fun to use that against his siblings next time they tried to play tag and run past him.

It had worked! She'd gotten a sound out of him! Laughing, Amary ducked under the other foal's wing, batting at him with her own in joyful abandon. She'd been right, his tail could feel! And THAT meant that he basically had another leg or something and THAT...was neat. She kinda wished she had a tail like that, but she DID have wings. Her brother and Mama didn't have wings, but her Papa did and he could do all kinds of things with them, like fly, so she was more than happy to stick with them.
Besides, she could whap at people with them, as she currently demonstrated.

He snorted as she smacked back at him and tried the trick he used with his brother. If he could just get his wing under hers then she couldn't be able to get at him without turning around. If she turned around then he could scurry back faster and get out of wing range.
It worked sometimes.

Though she was used to tussling with her brother, Leon didn't have wings; therefore Amary was completely unprepared for Sigao's blocking attempt. Discovering that she was thus penned back, she spun, trying to untuck her wing so that she could actually hit him. He was such a sneaky one, but she'd get him yet!

When she spun he bounced backwards and snickered slightly. So she hadn't expected that one! That meant that she must have had a brother like Res who didn't have wings.
He could use that to his advantage as long as he kept doing things that she wasn't used to. She'd probably pick up on it after a while but an advantage was an advantage and he wasn't worried about getting dirty like Dorian was.

One thing that Amary hadn't picked up (yet) from her father was his relative fastidiousness. Consequently, seeing Sigao move away, she went with the most obvious course of action to respond: By literally diving at him. "Rawr, you're not gonna win, you!"

"Ack!" He tried to scramble to the side as she dove at him and hopes his hooves got enough grip on the ground. The leaves were harder to get traction on than dirt so he flailed slightly in his attempt.
She wasn't going to win!

The thrill of the hunt was always powerful, though Amary really hadn't had a lot of experience with hunting. Still, she knew enough to take advantage of ny opportunity presented, in this case Sigao's stumble. From her place on the ground, she reached out with a wing, batting at the back of the colt's legs in an attempt to throw him off balance and knock him to the ground. On the ground, he'd be vulnerable!

Her wings tripped him up enough that he did tumble to the ground but he had a good counter for that. Tucking his legs up against him he fluffed his wings out over his head to hide.
His siblings always left him alone when he did that so it was worth a shot. Even if she still poked at him he could at least hope that she didn't do it too hard.

His siblings might leave him alone when he turtled, but Amary was hardly a sibling. Upon seeing Sigao's cover-up, she immeadiately dove right onto the other foal, squishing him under her. Obviously the victory was hers; today, SHE was on top.
Her mother would be so proud.

When she practically sat on him he failed and tried to toss her off. His wings were strong enough to give him some leverage and all he wanted to do was get out from under the girl.
"Nuuu!" He didn't like this whole thing and defiantly didn't want to become a pancake or something.

This was right up Amary's alley. Didn't she and Leon romp and wrestle all the time? Hadn't she learned to deal with being the little one?
Well, not as much as she'd like; Leon was really a lot less energetic than Amary liked to think that she herself was. Still, she was up to the challenge of beating Sigao, and it was proving very much to actually BE a challenge.
Which is why she was clinging to the other foal with such tenacity. "I win, Sigao!"

"Le'goooooooo" He whinned slightly as he continued to try to wiggle away from her. He even poked and prodded with his wings and tail to try to make her get up enough that he could too.
He didn't like the idea of all this dirt getting in his wings. He'd have to go take a bath and he -just- took one that morning. Getting all wet again wouldn't be any fun and would cut into his day.

Amary wasn't going to give an inch, though; not until she'd wrung a concession from her foe. "I'll let go after you say I won! Cause I've SOOOOO won."
As far as she was concerned, there was no question of her victory. Who was on top, after all? She was, of course.
