There were so many things she wanted to get out. Secrets that she wanted to spill or more sweet nothings to whisper, but it was getting late steadily fast. They both needed their rest. He more then her and Lilith wanted to honor that. She wanted to take of him and then tomorrow, when it was a new day. When it was the awakening of their new and oh so beautiful life together.
Then she would tell him all that he wanted to know.
In her mind things danced through her head. The thought of small puppy paws filling up the otherwise roomy den make her smile all onto herself. She didn't know if Karrim would be ready for that big step or not, but she had a feeling it would eventually come. And she liked that thought. Even if it was just a fantasy.
But, that would come later. For now she wanted to look at his leg.
And so she did. Her emerald eyes cast over it and traced the outlines and curvatures of his body. Karrim was certainly a prize to behold. He was probably the male most of the other females went for. And who could blame them. But he was hers and hers alone.
"I think.. " she started as she studied it some more, "That it will heal within a few moons. It's too bad we don't have a shaman running around," she said as she decided to snuggle up to him and offer comfort instead of opinion.

Smiling to show his happiness, Karim wiggled up closer to Lilith and settled his head on her back. It was a protective sort of possition and he knew he'd protect Lilith from anything that came her way. Bad leg or not, if Lilith was in trouble he'd do anything he could to make sure she went away unharmed. It was simple enough to understand... she meant everything to him and if he ever lost her he wouldn't know what to do. Lilith was able to care for herself, he knew this well because it was one of the qualities that drew him to her, but even strong wolves could sometimes get overwhelmed, much like he was now. If that time ever came for her... he'd be there to hold her up like she was holding him up now.
"I sure hope so... it's a bother..." Karim nodded slowly after Lilith looked at his leg. She was right, a shaman would be good for the pack but they were often hard to come by.
Sighing softly he let his eyes close, keeping his head on top of Lilith's back as he did so. He was exhausted, more so than he'd originally imagined and it really showed when he finally had a chance to lay down. Hobbling around on three legs all day really took it out of you, he never would have guessed that before. If all went well, Lilith would be right and it'd only last a few more moons and he'd be back to his normal self again. That's when the fun would really begin.
He had so many plans for this new relationship, he was new at everything but ideas buzzed through his head. He wanted to spend as much time as possible with her, he needed to show her that he loved her unconditionally. There would be walks near the river, perhaps he could splash her and see if she got angry... Perhaps a shared hunting trip and much, much, more.
..and maybe someday they'd have children to look after, that was definitely going to be a stressful task. He knew children could be a handful, he just didn't know how Lilith took to kids. He'd find out eventually... or so he hoped.

Lilith said nothing further but instead burrowed herself into Karrim's purple fur, nestling deeply. She felt completely full of comfort and love. So much so that she felt her back muscles release and the usual tension was gone. It made her let out the softest moan that would be heard to miss to the untrained ear. It made her snuggle deeper and again she felt that all was right within the world.
Or at least her world.
Lilith too had big plans. Great big plans. Now Karrim wasn't just her sidekick, he would be her lover and mate. They would rule together in perfect harmony. Before it was something that just was. Lilith had needed a second pair of eyes and ears and there he was. She had no idea how to run a pack, and the way it was run now was by trail and error. She preyed to wolf's wants and desires and that was the only reason the pack was growing and still standing.
Now though...now they could learn together.
Karrim would lead, as she knew he was born to do. And she would be the queen forever and always. Soon, through the quiet stillness of the night Lilith finally closed her eyes and her breathing began to grow heavier. It wasn't long before sleep crept up and took hold.
And for once in her life, she was at peace.
