Kizzy blushed.
Ah, yes.
She admitted.
I was trying to find Mages - I have a ... friend there. I wanted to surprise him with a visit but I didn't realize how big this place is.

"Well, we need to meet the king first, but if you wish to follow afterwards, I can show you the way. It won't take too long... at least it shouldn't," she said with a shrug. "I can't be positive though." She did tend to talk a little too much.

(( I'm bored, and at work... Soooo Enter Ambrosia! Princess of the land! <3 ))
Ambrosia dug her hands into the mound of dirt surrounding her favorite little pink flowered shrubbery. Her and her nurse-maid Mahri had just finished replanting it in the gardens, from the small pot she'd been raising it in. She patted the dirt around the base of the small plant, and then looked over at the woman watchin her, ad smiled a very proud little smile. "I did it!"
It was easy to tell the girl was happy, and very proud of herself; afterall, replanting was a tough job, especially for a little one like herself. SHe dropped back onto her bum and sighed. What hard work this gardending stuff was, but she really enjoyed it!
"Very good, Amby. I'm sure your mother would be proud of you!"
The girl beamed at this, and nodded her head feircly. "Yes! Where is mummy, anyways? And Daddy?" She tilted her head to the side, waching the nursemaid curiously. They'd walked by the throne room earlier, but it had been empty.
Mahri shrugged. "Who knows? Working. The King and Queen are very busy people, you know that."
Ambrosia sighed, but nodded. "I know. I wanted to show them... How pretty it looks in the garden!"

"I'm sure they'll see it later, little one," Shahi said, almost forgetting she was interrupting. She smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry for being rude, but do you happen to know where the king and queen are right now?"
She had left only a year or so back, but Ambrosia had changed alot over that short amount of time. She didn't even recognize the little girl. So it didn't occur to her that she was talking to the princess of Valdemar.

"Aah, Herald Shahi." Mahri bowed her head to the herald in greeting, a light smile on her face "I'm sorry, but the King and Queen are always running around, tending to things. Last i knew they were supposed to be in the throne room, but we didn't see them when we passed it half a candlemark ago."
That almost made ambrosia pout, but she refused to let herself do that. "Shahi?" It took a moment, the girl rolling the name around in her head, and then she brighten with recognition. "Shahi!" SHe pulled herself up off the ground, not at all caring about the dirt covering her breeches and flung her arms around the heralds waist "I missed you! You were gone for so long!"

"Ambrosia? Is that you? My, I hadn't even recognized you! How you've grown!" she said laughing. She picked the girl up and swung her about. "Why, look at you!" She seemed entirely oblivious of what their current job was.

She giggled at the swinging around and smiled wide; she'd missed the attention Shahi always showed her. "Of course i grew up! you were gone forever!"

"Only a year or so," she said putting her down and scratching the side of her face. "It was just long enough for me to calm down some. I met some interesting people along my travels that helped me understand all that I was going through, and all that I could do now."

Ambrosia nodded her head, tucking a few curly strands of brown hair behind her ear as she watched the Herald. "Yes. Mummy said that you needed to leave for a little while, that it would do you some good. i dont understand though. why couldnt you meet new people in the city?"

"I didn't want to stay here. I blamed myself for what happened, Ambrosia. You're still young, but you'll understand in time," she said placing her hands on her thighs and leaning towards the little princess. She smiled at her, hoping that they could move away from the topic. Even though she was slowly getting over it all... it was still there, constantly in her mind.

Ambrosia nodded a few times; No, she didnt understand, and she didnt feel like waiting until she was old enough to understand everything but.. what was she to do? "Alright. Say, Shahi, why are you looking for Mummy and Papa? Did something happen?"
Mahri stood behind the young Princess, listening, but not saying anything.

"O, nothing to severe, Ambrosia," she said waving a hand at her. "Someone got chosen while I was on my way here, so I thought that I'd personally bring him here. And then I found a little lost lamb who needed some help around, which I volunteered for. Nothing major, as you can see," she said with a laugh.

Kizzy didn't know what she had gotten herself into. The King and Queen! She shouldn't be meeting them! But this woman wasn't taking no for an answer - actually, she wasn't giving Kizzy a chance to answer at all. Lord and Lady what was she going to do now?

Ambrosia brightened at what she was hearing. Newly chosen!! Someone else with their very own companion! that was great to hear!! "Ooh! Thats fun! Can.. Can i come with you?" SHe looked behind Shahi at the girl that was trailing behind. She didnt look like a herald-trainee to be, but then again, alot of the trainees didnt look the part. "Do you have a companion?" She asked Kizzy, then looked over towards Mahri "Can i go with Shahi? pleeaase?"
Mahri smiled and nodded her head. "I suppose it will be alright, as long as you promise not to get in the Heralds way, or bug your parents when you find them."
