Merlin tried to stifle his laughter at the sight, and just barely passed off a chortle as a cough. Of course, it wouldn't be very polite to laugh at a lady...But it just so funny, with the leaves and the Sentinel and the...
"HhaHoot!" ...Oops...
Quickly covering his chuckle, Merlin bowed and waved a tawny wing jovially. This Sentinel was a pretty one, too. "My name's Merlin. It's a pleasure to meet a beautiful lady such as yourself."

Flower let out a long drawn out sigh. "Thanks any ways." She looked around herself raither cautiously. She was on the ground after all and preditors could easily pick her off. "Daisy!!" She called out as she started thru the tall grass in the meadow. She stopped and looked at some raither odd looking blue flowers. "Ohh!!" She exclaimed. "This would make a raither pretty blue dye for someone." She lifted off the ground then landed on the branch next to Merlin. She smiled then pulled on her pouch. "A gatherers work is never done!! I will just gather more as I look for Daisy." She flew back down landing in the flowers and started gathering them into her pouch.

Fault shot a an angry look and raised a questioning eyebrow as merlin let out a laugh, how dare he laugh at her.
'..I am Fault, Utterly charmed to meet you'
her monotone voice dripped with sarcasm as she flicked leaves from her head slowly and deliberatly. She slowly turned her head upwards and screahed angry at Kes who came down from the tree so quickly it was like her mistress' call knocked her clean out of the tree. In truth the Parus knew better than to get Her any more angry. The little blue bird sat near Fault staing at the other sentinels happily and every now and then letting a happy chirp escape.
Fault had turned her attention to the female sentinel who was a gatherer, Fault came to this conclusion after she came out with 'a gatherers work is never done' her insides twinged....this one was quite twee wasnt she?
((please dont be offended with how much of an arse Fault is.....its just an act))

On the outside, Merlin smiled politely. On the inside, he gawped. H-He...He had been totally rejected! Sure, he had laughed, but still. No female Sentinel could resist his charm, right? Right?
Deciding to continue on as if Fault's tone had been friendly, Merlin smiled.
"As am I, to be so fortunate as to meet someone so fair of complexion."
Glancing around, the Hunter's keen eyes spotted a tuft of green fur snagged in a thorn bush.
"Miss Flower, I just may have found something." Merlin waved his wing.

Flower stopped gathering and looked up at Merlin. She followed where his wing was pointing with her eyes. "Well I shall go look over there." She closed her pouch then lifted off the ground. Her eyes scanned the thorn bush. "Ohh dear." She flew over to the thorn bush and landed next to it. "Daisy??" She peered into it. "Are you in there?"
Daisy poked her nose out of the bush. "Here!!" She crawled out happy to be with Flower again. "Eat me!!"
Flower blinked at Daisy a bit puzzled. "Why would I eat you?"
Daisy sighed. "No no no. Something." Then crawled up on Flowers head.

Snapping her attention back like a finely tuned rubber band, she couldnt believe that this one just could'nt keep quiet. She grated her beak as though chewing on somthing for a while a sign her patience was fading. Although Faults temper was like someone trying to balance a marble on a plate....on a boat, in a storm while on roller skates. She just loved to be angry, that had to be the reason.
She had to admit Merlin was a hansome looking thing, but that diddnt come into it with Fault, romance was somthing that other sentinels did. She just had her job and the joy she gained from winding others up and driving them round the bend.
clicked her beak and replied calmy
'Cheers'
She watched as a little Mus appeared, this must be the elusive daisy, she looked unimpressed.

Puffing up with pride, Merlin chuckled cooly. "Miss Flower, I do believe your little Daisy has been returned safely. I am glad to have been of service." He made a sweeping bow, and bobbed his head quite satisfied with himself. This would be an apt time to take leave with a dramatic air, but Merlin rather liked to stay with the two lovely Sentinels.

Flower lifted off the ground then landed on a branch near the others. "So it seems. Thank you Merlin!!" She peered at Fault. "What profession is it you do?" She was raither curious on what others did for a living.
Daisy scampered off onto the branch next to Flower and started cleaning her dirty fur.

'Me?' Fault asked fully knowing what the question was
'I'm a medic by trade, and a damn good one too' she huffed up with pride, ruffling feathers and smirking.
'I assume you're a gatherer then?' Faults eyes darted to Flowers collecting pouch. She felt proud of her self for figuring it out without bieng told, it made her feel smart. Kes stopped preening herself and took it upon herself to preen Faults tail feathers, the sentinel did her best to ignore this.
She turned a glare towards the plucky Merlin and asked
'What is it that you do for a living then?'

Flower smiled happily. "Yes I am a gatherer." She thought a moment. "I would be glad to help you gather anything that you might need. I am happy to be of service to anybody. I bet your patients never wanna leave. Your quite pretty to look at." She looked down at herself. She was raither dull compared to Fault.

Merlin held his head up high. "A Hunter. Yes, I provide for the greater good, using my skills to feed those who cannot provide for themselves, including, if I may, the injured." Hoping that that comment would soften the medic, Merlin went on in his rather pompous manner. "And I am sure that you ladies are both excellent, very talented Sentinels of your specific trades."

Fault tweaked up at the gatherers offer to help her find things, she usually was too stubborn to ask for help but these sentinels amused her, which is to say she quite liked them and thier company. She just loved bieng completely bitter the entire time of it.
'Actually I suppose I was looking for decent dry moss for bandaging..I dont think thats beyond your talents is it?'
She struggled to ask kindly
She listened to Merlin without looking at him becasue him comments now were so dramatic and over flattering, that they became funny and Fault smirked.
'I do my best'
she said to Merlin without making eye contact, she pretended to be busy stopping kes from preening her tail into a stubby mess.

Flower nodded her head. "I can get you what you are looking for of course. I know a good place to gather it. I will drop by with some for you later." She poked around in her pouch for a minute. "I can find lots of herbs also." She pulled some of the herbs from her pouch. "Do you think you could use any of these?" She looked over at Merlin. He was being more corny with Fault then he was being with her. Hopefully he wouldn't make to big of a fool of himself.

Fault nodded at Flower greatfully, she liked her, she was to the point and direct, she said what needed saying. She peered at what Flower was showing her she ambled closer with kes in tow, she was impressed these herbs were quite difficult to find and were very fresh too. She grinned when she saw them unable to hold her excitement, it was feverfew.
'Really can I have this?'
she cocked her head sure there would be a catch.

Flower nodded her head. "Yes you can have it if you can use it. I am trying to be as useful to all as I can be. But if you like I will be glad to be your personal supplier of herbs." She bowed slightly happy to be of service to someone.
