~ A few Days after the Chaos Incident ~
Shuji stood outside the door of the Hanekage's office. He was contemplating what he would say now that he felt it was time to begin everything. He had heard the rumors about what had happened to Chaos, and though he hadn't seen it himself, he knew that it could only mean one thing. There had been a time when Shuji had been a major contributor to all the research that was going on, not to mention that he had been waiting for a list on things needed so he could journey out and get them. Tucked under his arm was the scrolls of notes he had taken back when he had been inside the hospital. Lifting a hand, he knocked on the door, waiting for Azure's answer.
It's time I learn about these "Blessed Seals", he thought as he waited for the Hanekage to answer his door. Surely the leader of the village must have known that this visit would come sooner or later. Shuji had been quiet, letting the Hanekage gather his thoughts and his information, and now it was time, hopefully, for everything to get passed on to the young Chunnin. I might be young...but I know that I can handle these things, he thought, trying to convince himself of that fact.

"Leave it at the door."
Came the reply from inside, as the 2nd had mistaken Shuji for another delivery ninja.

Shin decided it was time to start asking questions that needed to be answered, so he made the choice to finally pay a visit to the hanekage. Even though Shin had never stepped foot into the office except for that time him and tougura were doing some snooping around, after the incident that occurred last year. To come to think of it, Shin had never had a proper meeting with azure before so he didn’t really know how to greet the old man. Shin stood out the building door gathering his thoughts before he would enter.

Azure contemplated on Masamune Syaoran. Azure had given Masa a chance to be the head of the clan, and he did very little. He had trained some young Ichijin in the past, and that was a plus, but his allegiances varied from time to time. More often than not, Masa would not take a leadership role for the clan, and so ended up letting people like Azure or Ulwe lead the Ichijin. By forcing Masa to deal with Tougura, perhaps Masa would finally step up and take responsibility (since it was easy for Azure to influence the clan to accept Tougura back).

Shaking his head, Shuji reached forward and opened the door to reveal that he was not in fact a delivery ninja. With a polite bow, Shuji stepped into Azure's office, the scrolls tucked neatly underneath his arms. As he stepped forward, he did his best to keep a serious expression. He wasn't sure why, but whenever he was in the Hanekage's office, he always just wanted to smile.
"Lord Hanekage," the young Chunnin started politely, "I'm sure you know why I'm here. I've heard the rumors about Chaos, and though I haven't seen the results myself, I can only imagine what this means. I assume you've finished the research on the "Blessed Seals." He stood silently, waiting for Azure's reply. He didn't want to speak out of place too much, for this was something that he wanted to be part of.

"One could assume that."
The Hanekage said as he looked over another piece of paper before placing it back on top of the pile. His voice sounded tired.

"I've only come to ask...not to demand," Shuji started again, this time sounding more relaxed. "Would you...assuming that this is all true, would you be willing to let me train with another who knows of these seals and learn them? This means you won't have to train me. I would only ask of you to come and monitor my progress from time to time, and make sure that I know exactly what I'm doing." He stopped, giving the Hanekage time to absorb everything that the young chunnin had just said. He didn't think that Azure would say yes, as it would be a big responsibility, but then at the very least Shuji would know that they were completed.

Just as Shin finished gathering his thoughts a tall bulky ninja step in front of him, guarding the door. He looked down at him with a scowl on his face.
"I'm sorry kid but the hanekage is already speaking to someone"
Shin nod his head and sat near the bench.

"Why do you want to learn about the blessed seal?"
Azure asked in the way one would ask why someone else would want to know about something dangerous, like how to build a nuclear bomb.

"I want to learn them so I can help this village, Lord Hanekage. I started helping with this research when Chaos forced a cursed seal onto the body of my friend Kitsu. I want to make sure that no one ever has to suffer from that sort of thing again." He wasn't sure if this sounded like a good enough reason, but it was the truth. Some people might say that they wanted these seals for a good reason but really wanted them for power. Power was the last thing on Shuji's mind, and was something that could be gained from training, not just from some crazy seal.

"The cursed seals are gone now... the need for the blessed seals is passed."
Azure said with the sense that the conversation was then over and closed.

"If you think that then you are a fool, Azure." Chaos said as he walked into the office, holding his new yari. Chaos however did not look well, he was rather pale. "I have..." Chaos stopped for a second and started coughing. Once he had stopped he continued on, "I have spent to much time and money on my research."

"The Seals of the old time were never supposed to be used by mortals Chaos!"
The 2nd said as he stood up abruptly as he almost shouted it out. He caught himself before continuing.
"No matter how much you ever wanted power, you were a fool to ever consider the Seals as an answer."
He sat back down.
"I was a fool for letting you do as you wanted for such a long time. But, before that I made the mistake of making you an ANBU. An ANBU doesn't experiment on children. An ANBU doesn't make unprovoked attacks on members of the village... An ANBU doesn't try to destroy the village for their own twisted needs for POWER!"
Azure punctuated the last word by both of his hands slamming on the desk.
"Your crimes..."
The Kage began to say in a venomous tone, but he stopped and turned towards the window. His voice returned to the normal, fatherly voice he usually held. A sigh almost escaped his lips.
"... You should be dead."

"I should be dead... I should be dead many times over."
Chaos coughed once more and then pointed his yari at Azure.
"How about we seddle this then? A battle to finish it all. If I win, I become the new Hanekage. If you win I will give up my curse mark and curse seal research..." Chaos coughed once more. "What do you say Lord Hanekage?"

"If battle is all you understand... so be it."
He stood up once more and turned around to face Chaos and Mosuke.
"I hope you understand the implications of this day."
