Mikhail just giggled more as she nipped at him and wiggled her tail away from him. At her exclamation, he tossed his head about as if he was looking for something frantically. "Hay?! Where?!" He asked playfully, as if she was actually referring to hay. He grinned widely when she finally managed to grab his tail, flicking the white thing back and forth.

Her head followed as he flicked his tail. "There is no hay." She mumbled, while keeping a tight hold on his white tail. Asami continued to swim as the black and white male did. Her blue eyes stayed on him to take in his movements and try to guess what he would do next.

When she said that there was no hay, he pouted playfully at her. "Aww... why would you say that if there was no hay? It's not nice to lie, you know." He told her in a teasingly whining tone. Once again, he flicked his tail to get out her grip, but when he saw that it failed once again he chuckled lightly. With that, he took a deep breath and attempted diving underwater with a big splash again in hopes of losing her.

Asami nudged him, knowing that he was only teasing her. "I wanted to see if you liked hay." She said playfully before he dove under the water. Her teeth gripped tighter, but then lost grip when he dove under the water. The filly then took in a deep breath, just as he had, and dove under the water after him. In only a few moments, she resurfaced and looked around for the other foal.

He couldn't really reply to her comment, being underwater and all. But unfortunately, he hadn't mastered this trick yet and quickly found himself resurfacing rather quickly. While he was underwater though, he didn't realize that she had dove under as well, blinking. "Wow... I didn't know others knew how to do that too."

Her ears flicked at the water and the knotted ribbons in her mane were now a darker color. "I just copied you." She said with a giggle as she watched her friend then shook her head, sending the water in her mane flying. Asami's legs kicked under her to keep her above the water as she watched the colt in front of her.

The uni blinked at her when she mentioned copying him. "Do you copy everything you see others do?" He asked with a tilt of his head. He kept swimming around her so he didn't sink into the water, tail flicking lightly. He noticed her ribbons and wondered why she didn't take them off before getting into the water, but he didn't want to bother her by asking about it.

The filly blinked once then shook her head. "No, only the things that look interesting." She smiled and kicked the water. Her blue eyes followed the uni colt as he swam around her, it was easier to move and stay above the water than it was to stay in one place and try to stay above the water.

"Oh. Wait... you thought what I did was interesting?" He asked, a bit shocked. He always thought it was just a simple trick that was fun to use while swimming. To be honest, he didn't think anything he did was interesting. He sighed and found himself getting tired, with that, he started heading toward the shore. "I'm going back on land now... you can keep swimming if you want."

Asami's head cocked to one side at his question. "Yeah! It was something I never knew how to do." She nodded her head, splashing water everywhere. When he decided to get out, she followed him. "I'm getting bored with swimming." She admitted, leaving the water right after her friend did. Land wasn't nearly as tiring to move around on as water was.

"U-uh... Thank you... I guess." He said softly, not really knowing what to say about that. "I-I'm glad that I could teach you something you didn't know how to do." He added.
After a little time, he climbed onto shore, water dripping from his fur. When he had sure footing, he shook off the excess water, beads of it cascading in all directions. Once he was settled, he looked back to Asami and smiled softly. It was nice to have someone that didn't seem to be afraid of him.

Asami walked next to Mikhail and watched as he shook the excess water off himself. Soon, she copied him and shook the excess water off herself as well.
She smiled at her friend when she noticed his smile. Asami's ears twitched slightly at the sound of a frog leaping into the water they had just climbed out of. "What else is there to do?" The filly asked the colt. He seemed to know what to do for fun.

Mikhail turned his head back and licked at his tail, getting some of the remaining drops of water from it before flicking it lightly. Straightening up, he wondered what he... or they could do now as he heard her question. He remained silent for a moment as he thought about possibilities. "U-um... would you like to come with me to get some apples?"

Asami watched his movements and mimicked his behavior for a moment. She smiled at him then nodded her head at his question. "Yes!" Any chance of staying with her new found friend, she would take.

Hearing the positive response to his question, the dark colt gave her a faint smile and a nod. "Follow me!" He stated softly, motioning with his head in an almost 'come hither' motion. Slowly, he began to walk ahead in the direction he remembered some apple trees grew.
