 The little filly quietly trotted through the fields. There wasn't much to do this day. How bland! Her eyes darted around to find out something to do. Asami picked up her pace and began to run around the area. She made sure not to lose the two bows her mother put in her mane.
Asami's skin colored ears flicked around as she looked around. A snort escaped the filly. Maybe there would be something more interesting over there? She thought to herself as she looked in the direction of some water. Water was always fun, it helped her cool off and gave her a huge playground.

A dark colt splashed about in the water, it reaching to his belly as the river got closer to the lake. He let out a happy nicker as he took off into a gallop before launching himself into the lake with a 'whee'. Landing with a splash, keeping most of his head above the surface of the water.

Asami's ears flicked towards the sound of another's voice and a splash following. A tiny smirk tugged at the corners of her mouth. Her blue eyes quickly glanced around to find whatever, or whoever was making the noises. When she saw the black colt, her head tilted. A very interesting fellow he was. The main thing that caught her eyes was the thing sticking out of his head. What on earth was that thing?!
As quickly as she noticed him, Asami ran over to the water, but stopped just before she actually ended up in the lake. Asami's eyes followed the black and white figure as he swam around in the water. "Hey you!" She finally called out to the colt.

Mikhail continued to swim about, sometimes swimming in circles when he caught sight of a fish swim by. He wasn't quite sure on how to dive just yet like a herd-mate could, but that didn't stop him from trying. Tucking his head under the water, he tried to swim deeper underneath, with no luck. Resurfacing, he let out a snort as he took a breath, a spray of water coming from his nostrils.
He was enjoying his time in the water so much, he hadn't realized that he had 'company'. That is, until he heard a voice call out to him. Looking around, his red eyes saw the filly at the lake's shore. "Hey!" He called back.

Asami looked at the water then at the colt. She wanted to jump in so badly, but didn't want to get into possible trouble. Also, she didn't want to intrude... that would be the polite thing to do, correct? As she looked at the colt blow water out of his nostrils, Asami couldn't help but giggle just a tad.
After a moment she heard his voice scream back to her. Her mind raced with what she would say. 'Just say something nice.' Asami thought to herself as she sat in silence for a moment. Her voice quickly broke the silence. "What are you doing?" What a stupid thing to say! He would either think she was jus plain stupid or trying to act out her kindness. Already she blew her opportunity of making a friend. A sigh escaped her.

The colt swam around for a bit longer, his attention moving back and forth between some fish and the filly. He couldn't help but wonder if she was going to join him, it looked like she wanted to. With another snort, he started to swim toward her.
His dark ears perked forward at her question, blinking just slightly. "I'm swimming. Care to join me?" He offered her with a small smile, his white tail flicking and splashing some water around behind him.

Her eyes watched as he swam around a little longer. When his eyes fell down to the fish in the water, her eyes followed. As he came closer, she found herself taking a step backwards. Why was she moving away from a potential friend? Probably because she didn't want to be rude, which always seemed to happen for some strange reason.
Asami eyed the foal closely. He wasn't like anything she had seen before. The colt wasn't the same color as her and her family. Did others have markings like this? If so, Asami wanted to meet these others that had such interesting markings.
When he offered, Asami paused for a second, thinking about what her mother would say if she returned with her bows falling out of her mane and dirty as could be, but it was far too hard to resist. The filly took a few steps towards the water and jumped in with a large splash. Her head poked up from the water and she felt a smile tug at her lips. "Of course I'd love to join you!" Excitement filled her voice.

He frowned when he saw her back away as he got closer. Was his looks scaring off someone? He couldn't understand what it was about him that frightened others, but he got the same response from a herd-mate.
Mikhail just continued to swim around and watch the filly, curious of what her answer would be. He couldn't help but feel that it would be no, considering her initial reaction. It was when she jumped in with a splash, that surprised him, looking to her for a moment before giggling. With that, he swam over to her to playfully n** at her mane.

When he swam over and nipped at her mane, she hoped he wouldn't mess up her bows. Her mother took too long to put those in her mane, which took out of her play time. Asami glanced at him and laughed a little. This was too much fun.
Her little legs kicked and propelled her through the water. Asami nipped at him playfully, careful to keep away from the sharp looking thing on his head. His markings were so interesting, far more interesting than her family, who all looked about the exact same.

Mikhail giggled more as she nipped at him, pulling his head away. Playfully, he flicked his tail at her, splashing water at her in the process. Swimming around her again, he once again nipped at her mane. He couldn't help but notice on how normal she looked as they played. How he wished he could have turned out normal, but one couldn't change what had already happened, so he learned to deal with it... sort of.
"Oh... I'm Mikhail. What's your name?" He asked, before once again watching a fish swim by. Once the fish was out of his view, he returned his attention back to her and awaited her response.

His giggles made her ears flick towards him. She moved just out of the reach of his nipping then nipped right back at him playfully. The slightest bit of a laugh escaping the little one's throat. Maybe she could make more friends if they were this easy to get along with. Asami's eyes flicked to his skull looking head and she smiled a little. He was far more interesting than her family... why couldn't she be like him?
At the sound of his voice, Asami paused for a second to listen to what he was saying to her. She thought about his name for a second. It was unique, like the white, red, and brownish orange things on him, she didn't quite know what to call them. "Oh! Mikhail?" She paused for a second to think about what she was going to say next. Hopefully nothing bad. Asami took in a breath and answered his question quickly. "Asami."

Mikhail playfully fended off her nips with his horn, being careful not to accidentally poke her with it. Even though he saw his dad have one, he didn't really realize what it was for. For now, he just found it useful for play as he swam around her to this time n** at her tail.
When she gave him her name, he nickered softly and smiled. "Asami? That's a very nice name." He told her before going back to n** at her tail once more.

Asami giggled slightly at the colt's playful ways. The thing on his head made it hard for her to n** at him. Her blue eyes scanned around to try and find away around it. She followed him and nipped at his tail as the two continued to swim.
"I like your name! Its really interesting." She thought for a second. The colt was all around interesting.

The uni tried splashing water at her once again with his tail to distract her from getting at it. Chuckling, he actually grabbed onto her tail and gave it a few playful tugs. He made sure that he didn't pull too hard as he now, swam around with her tail in his mouth.
"Thank you!" He replied back in a muffle due to the fur of her tail he had clenched in his teeth.

Her jaws opened to grab his tail, but instead got a mouthful of water. Asami spit it out and gently nipped his side, wherever she could get her teeth. When she felt her tail being pulled she wiggled away from the uni.
"Hey!" A playful giggle followed the word as she grabbed his mainly white tail and pulled a little.
