::And what do you mean by that? What are you wanting to try to nosy out of me?:: her mindvoice was tinged with amusement and teasing. She fingered the pendant around her neck, almost thuoghtful like, but her attention was still on the cat walking ith her.

Setsuna's tail swayed lightly in amusement. //Things such as your history, past, wants, needs.\ The cat stopped walking and sat down. //It'd be nice to have a friend.\ He purred.

Turning to face the cat she said simply, ::Why should I trust you enough to spill my life out to a complete and total stranger, whom I just happen chance on in a forest that is rumored by the elves to be dangerous?::

His tail curled around one of his front legs. //And why shouldn't you trust me, considering I haven't attacked you or showed any wish to since I leapt down before you, even though I may be a stranger?\ Yes, Setsuna was a sarcastic brat, even in cat form, but his words made sense.

Setsuna looked at her for a moment, frowning, then stood, flicking an ear. //It's not that simple. I know what's in this forest. It's not that hard for imps to center into telepathy.\ Then, in one quick movement, Setsuna leapt upwards with skill and his claws hooked to a black mage imp. The werecat landed nimbly, the imp pinned under him. Setsuna hissed, the fur on his hackles raised. //What did you hear?!\ He demanded.

Shiane was startled and had nearly thrown pure magic when the cat jump. But she managed to lock it down before it was released; it wouldn't do for her magic to get away from her in an unknown place. But the minute she got a look at the imp,she cried out verbally, "Zeek!....Get off of him Setsuna!" she swiftly stood beside the cat, ready to push him away. ::He's the Spymaster for my adoptive mother...:: she added

Setsuna's eyes slittled more, but he released the imp and stepped back, wrapping his tail around his legs and crouching. //Spymaster. How do you know this is him?\ Setsuna asked, ears flicking in annoyance. The werecat's silver-white fur gleamed by the moonlight. Sunrise would come soon and he'd change to his normal form.

Shiane looked down at the imp, who stared back up at her with wide grey eyes and the glanced at the cat. "Well Lady Shiane?" Zeek asked her when he turned his gaze to her once again.
Shiane nodded, "REveal it Zeek."
Zeek nodded briefly adn then upturned his right arm where it revealed a scar in the shape of a cresent moon with a dove in the background and a bandolier of ivy connecting them both.
"It is the symbol of my mistress, cat." Zeek said. then he looked up at Shiane. "This alone can not prove who I am Lady."
Shiane sighed, but nodded and soon revealed her own wrist had the same symbol scar on the inside of her wrist.

Setsuna swiped his tail around behind him and curled it around a front paw. The werecat gave a slight nod, then his eyes narrowed at the imp. //I'm no cat!\ He hissed, fur raising. Setsuna was proud of what he was and wasn't about to let a mere imp mistake that fact.

Zeel just smirked at him, knowing that he was doing a fairly good job at ruffling the werecat's fur. But he lowered his gaze when Shiane looked at him with narrowed eyes at him.
"Setsune, does this give you enough proof of who he says he is?" Shiane asked, trying to smooth everything over.
