I joined because my friends wanted me to try it out, I thought it was a pretty big waste of time xd . I decided that I atleast needed to make an outfit because we had all been making avatars that looked like ourselves ^^. Before I even joined I wanted to know if there were angel wings and a halo, and I decided when I joined I really wanted a halo. Then I realized how expensive they were @_@ and thats what led me to become and exchange whore xd and thats about it.. during my time in the exchange and other forums I found alot of friends and all the fun things about gaia and so I've just stayed ever since ^^. Now my friends laugh at me because I originally wanted little to do with gaia and now I'm on it every day xd

I was trying to download RO onto my comptuer for a week, (56k sucks) and finally suceeded, unfortunately it turned out my computer couldn't handle the program, faced with absolute and total boredom i went running around the net looking for an alternative anime based rpg, i came upon gaia on a search engine, it reminded me of an old forum based rpg i used to play called exotikah so i joined. the rest is posting history. i spent three days in the art forum, decided most the people there were idiots and switched to the chatterbox where i answered random questions and found the sex cave, i walked in, amused at the prospects of being in such a place i made up a story about being dared to go in, self imposed a rule that i couldn't leave, and never did. Thus far i have converted ambimie, my twin sis cary and my neices alisha and cary to the ways of gaia. now a year and a half later or so i bought a new computer that can run ro, so now i play both, though gaia is still my addiction of choice.

My friend Misao told me about it, then my other buddies joined it and I felt left out. So I jumped the bandwagon and ever since my creativity has been in high usage and improved more than I could hope for. ^_^

I remember talking to one of my BEST friends IRL jojo on AOL one night and she told me, "OMG you have to see this site! It's awesome!" and proceeded to send me the link. Ever since then I was hooked, but didn't actually join until a couple months after that moment.
Why I joined...well, I wanted a little avatar, really. whee That was it. Then I got into everything else and, well, that's why I'm sitting in front of this computer right now. ^_^ If it wasn't for jojo I'd be sleeping. heart

Oh, um... I was told about this site by an old Internet friend of mine; Emlan. She was mostly like, "Ooh, check this cute forum!" ... And then I was like, "Woo, chibi avatars! @w@;;", and then it took me about one hour to fall in love with Gaia since it was all happy hippie and wonderful back in those days.
I also started talking to siryn and Kichigai Mauro on my very first days online, so that helped too. *Huggles them both* 4laugh
