I hear... Is... That life?
Nex opened his eye and glanced around.
Where... Oh yes.
He was in the tree tops laying with his back on the girth of the tree. Nex's eye could not see much, however as he was completely covered by foliage. With much concentration the sound of living beings came into his view, using their noise to map out his location, their appearances, their enemies, basically everything one could tell with a short glance.
Don't stop, just go.
Nex obeyed the voice and jumped out of his concealment onto the ground. The people where still a ways behind him, and coming up fast. He began running quietly down their assumed path, in the same direction, keeping himself out of sight from these new people.
At best they'll make a nice distraction so I can escape this damned forest.
... Not exactly my intentions... But whatever.
Nex could make out all the demons about. It seemed they heard the louder noise, and with such simple minds went for what could be an easier meal.

(( Sorry about any mistakes... It's been a while since I RPed with people I didn't really know. Maybe a little less than a year. //_x;; ))

Yukaria noticed a slight change in the foilage. 'What was that..? Ah, well. I'll investigate later...' Still battling the servants from hell, she pretended not to notice.

Windy saw the damage done to Yukaria and immediately changed course. "Let me heal that for you. Just cover me." Windy's eye's rolled into the back of her head as she began healing.

Yukaria was now battling twice as many demons, but it didn't look like she was having any trouble. The demons had started muttering around them, chanting words almost as a whisper. "Daughter of the king......Return home!" Outraged, she hit them with more force, causing them to fly backwards, dead instantly. "He's not my father!" In a fit of built up pressure, she punched the ground in front of her and caused a slight sonic blast.

Felix shook his head. "I don't have time for this. If she wants to fight these things that's her own business, and I won't stop her."

He sighed. "You all are becoming more of a burden than anything else. I need to keep moving and this is doing nothing but slowing me down." Felix turned on his heels without waiting for a response, but took only a few steps before he noticed another presence just down the way. "Great," he muttered under his breath.

Yukaria had moved farther away, apparently not hearing the question. Her rage had still not vanished and she was using the same amount of strength. Eyes starting to glow red, she was sending anyone in her path flying. Only the one's with sharp eyes could note, that out of the corner's of her eyes, Yukaria was crying. "Shut up....and leave me....the hell alone!" Kneeing one into the air, she frontflip kick and sent him at least five feet into the ground.

"Tch. I'm sick of this." With that, she had created a bubble of pure energy and engulfed Felix and Windy in it, along with herself. "If you wanted out, ya could've said so in the first place! Didn't you two know that that place is for hunting and battling only?"She snapped. Finishing her sentence, the bubble had popped and they had landed safely outside the forest. "There's no travel there. It's an endless amount of demons that go on forever."

It was the final straw, and Felix could feel something inside him snap.

"What the hell are you even thinking?!" he shouted at the top of his voice, "As if there was any other way to escape that city! And how could you be thinking of hunting?! This place is cursed, plagued, infected! Any of these words ringing bells? I have my own priorities and they don't involve being hounded by some girl who thinks hunting demons is a sport."

"And you!" Felix turned to Windy, "Why did you have to jump in there?! I don't care if every demon in the world is pursuing me, I don't need someone to jump in trying to help me just so I have to go in and save their sorry a**! I could have made it out just fine without you."

Felix turned his back, his hand itching toward his scythe, but he controlled the impulse, telling himself needless bloodshed would only cost him more precious time. Besides, Windy had made a good point. Why were all the demons attracted to that one place? And why had they waited to attack until someone attacked them?
