Eclipse looked up...up....uuuup to the glider and smiled **Usually around Dusk is when we eat, Mama will put the days catch on the stone table and we'll gather around the fire and talk and then Hummingbird, our chief, will talk and give thanks and a bunch of other stuff, she likes to talk... a lot...and then we'll get to eat.** He rubbed his belly, indicating that the time for that would be soon. **I could really go for some liver right now, its my favorite part, I hope mama caught a deer...** he rambled on as he looked over the gliders things. Starsong upon hearing that cringed a little and forgot that dinnertime would be soon, she hadn't prepared the doe at all for the meal. She quickly got up and scampered off to the cold storage to prepare the meal in quick manner, Locksending to her son, telling him to be good.

Unaware of the stealthy Huntress, Savith just nodded to the cub, commenting lightly, **Is Hummingbird still chieftess then? Is it odd, to be led by so young an elf?**

Eclipse nodded and smiled **Sure she is, but she's not so young! Older than mama maybe.... definitely older than me! Thats for sure!** He sent as he looked around and scratched his head at the private send he recieved. **We should start getting ready, I need to wash up! People will probably be gathering soon, so you can go and talk with them, or wash up too, your hands are a little dirty...** He rambled a bit as he made his way to the entrance.
((OOC: I dont remember how old hummer was, but this is coming from the mouth of a child. haha))

OOC: HUmmer was in her 30s or so. Savith glanced down at his hands, and nodded. **Yes, I think a quick rinse would do some good,** his mind commented lightly as he drifted out after the cubling.

((OOC: Ah ok, just a cub, I remembered her being younger cause I opposed having a youngling as a chief. I think Starsong is nearing 500 turns, I can't remember, I might be getting her confused with another one of my twomoons characters))
The cub led the tall one out of the cellar and bounced out towards the gathering area for the feast. Others had been trickling towards the clearing upon seeing the glider they stopped and stared. Some smiled, others frowned, some offered welcome, others ignored him. It was apparent of the mixed feelings of the tribe, weather or not the chief had welcomed the gliders into their homes.
Starsong was in the middle of the gathering, using her obsidian knife to neatly sever sections of the meat off and laying them out for people to come and take what they wanted. Her hands and knife dripping blood, as she occationally licked some off her fingers. Behind her on a spit was a leg haunch roasting over a fire, no doubt for the glider since her tribe ate theirs raw. The smell of cooking meat and the sound of murmuring filled the clearing.

A brow quirked faintly as the cooking meat came into view, but he said nothing, merely keeping his hands folded behind his back and he walked behind the cub with slow and dilebrate motions. To all, regardless of a welcome was extended or not, Savith gave only a brief glance, before averting his gaze. As he drew near the huntress, he eyed the kill and nodded once, murmurring, "Thank you for the meat, huntress."
