a grand puzzle
something far byond his experience!
how to open the doors in this place.....
"please...open...up!" jasae charges at the door and crashes into it completly oblivious to the panel beside it

Vineco walked out of his room, looking around for something to do, he saw Jasae messing with a metal door and smiled, walking over to him. "Need help?" he asked, but realized, he didnt know how to open the door either.

Maybe it was fate, or maybe it was just their bad luck that they happened to be trying to get through the door to Hangar 6-B. The hangar that they had been told several times was off limits to pretty much everyone, staff included.
It was also their bad luck that the captain Arena Mithril turned the corner with the Artillery teacher, Maxedel Rithvur at her side, behind them was the imposing head of the Academy, General Martel. The three were talking quietly, but stopped when they saw the students.
Looking at the two captains and the general, it would be easy for the two to wonder if they would survive the year. The both of them would be spending quite a lot of time with these teachers, and Liev's study focus put him directly under Mithril's thumb. As for Martel... Everyone was under his thumb, it was just a question of whether or not he noticed you.
"Would you care to explain your presance?" Rithvur inquired mildly, his voice quiet mannered.

Aki turned a corner with Kia and saw the small assembly. She titled her head. 'Already getting in trouble,' She mumbled moodily. Kia groaned and laid down at her feet. Aki tapped one of the teachers lightly on the shoulder. When they turned she bowed quickly. "Excuse me for being nosy." She apologized first. "But whats happened?" She glanced over their shoulder and saw two boys standing with shocked looks on their faces. "I heard a banging and ran over, has something happened?" She tiltled her head with a confused look to the teacher. Kia lifter her large head and also stared at the teacher.

The woman started to reply, then closed her mouth, so she wouldn't snap at the Communications student. After a moment, Mithril began again. "Nothing truly the matter," The woman said, her accent placing her as from somewhere around M-23. "Simply a couple of students attempting to enter the closed Hangar." She turned her head to glare at the boys before returning her gaze to the student. "I'm sure you were told there were some major repairs to be done." The captain reached over carefully to scratch Kia's head. Apparently the teacher in charge of the Pilots liked dogs.
Markel watched mutely, scrutinizing and memorizing the three student's faces, and probably the dog's as well.

"Yes, ma'am." Answered Aki polietly to the captain now scraching he large dogs head. She watched as Kia sighed with pleasure and started wagging her rather furry tail sending hair all over. Aki giggled watching her lazy dog. She took a sidelong glance at the man starting at the three of them, the students and even her dog. She mustered the courage and asked: "May I help you, sir?"

He blinked slowly at her. Students didn't speak to him unless they had to. Something about being remembered by the guy in charge of the Academy was a bad thing The newest cadets had yet to learn why.
After a moment, he spoke. "Would you be Ko-kou? Aki Kou-kou?" He asked. Creepy that he knew her name already. She didn't have a name tag- yet. They were supposed to get a name-badge in a few days.

"Yes sir, I am Ko-Kou." Aki spoke gravley and with respect for this man who seemed to hold his power like a cloak or expensive jewel, where people saw it and knew it. "Could I be of any assitance to you? If not I, then my dog, Kia, perhaps?" She said with a small bow to him. The whole time she met his gaze firmly.

Markel smiled. It was rare that this serious man showed any kind of emotion. He didn't explain the smile, but shook his head. "No, Cadet. I need nothing." He turned to the teachers. "Captains, we do have other things to attend to, besides the Hangar repairs. Might we hurry this a bit?"

Rithvur pointed simply at Aki. "She is a Communications student. I'm sure she would be delighted to escort you to the proper area."
The teachers looked quite pointedly at the three. A silent order to "Leave."
Now why all the secrecy about repairs to Hangar 6-B?

Aki wrinkled her nose but obeyed. "Yes Commander." She said with a bow before turning and heading down the hall. Kia groaned as she hauled her big boned body to its feet and trotted to catch up with Aki's long strided walk.
She shot them a glare over her shoulder that said 'Are you coming or not?!' Out loud she said: "Communications starts in a few minutes, I'd hurry if I were you." She never stopped walking.

"I thought my friend here was having trouble with a door and i had forgotton, as he did, which door it was. I am sorry for the misunderstaning sir." Liev said clearly and turned to leave with the two others.
He caught up with them and smiled, "Close call there, eh?" he said to Rithvur.

"Close call my a$$" Murmered Aki to herself scowling. She took a turn down a rarley used and dusty, dark, hallway. "Hurry up, I dont want to be late!" She called and quickened her already fast pace.
