Sign Me Up! If you are looking to join a guild, make sure to do some looking first. Guilds that advertise (especially often), whether it be via their bumps in some thread you've seen, a thread, or even one of the new Gaia User Ads, obviously care about their guild enough to take the time to make information available to potential members. Take advantage of that, check out the guild. If the guild is PUBLIC or PRIVATE, you can see inside of it, read posts, see what is going on, so take advantage of that, check out the guild before joining. If the guild is HIDDEN, then the owners probably want to keep their membership to a close-knit group, so you may want to consider asking them to make it private for a few minutes to check it out, or talking to people in the guild before joining one of those. In short, always check out the guild before you join it. *A special note about joining an RP guild or any guild that depends on you to function: Don't even apply if you don't have time to dedicate. If you are the kind of person who only comes online once per week or on holiday vacations, or anything like that, it isn't nice to join an ongoing roleplay and then leave the other players stuck or lost without you.* 16

Needle In A Haystack? Finding a guild that is right for you can be tough, but here are some hints: First off, if you are NEW to Gaia, a guild can be a more friendly place to get help than asking random people. If you truly do NOT know anyone, guilds may not always be accepting of your newness, but the ones that DO acccept you, will probably do their best to help you. If you know what you want, but can't find it, you can search the GGN Register hereOn that list, the guilds appear in order of their Rank, which is explained in post 12In my opinion though, if you have Gaian friends already, your best bet is to check out the guilds they belong to, you will probably have similiar interests to your friends, no? 17

How to Transfer a Guild Transfer of a guild to a new owner/captain can only be done by a captain or vice captainThe new owner MUST be a member of the guildTo make a person an owner, go to the Moderator Panel and select Change Guild Ownership. You will be prompted to type in the NEW OWNER'S name and YOUR password.
It is that simple 18

Deleting an Undeletable/Inaccessable Thread badloki As far as I know, anyone can do it, but it's difficult to explain. I had to make another new topic to figure it out (I deleted the topic I made). Anyway, make a new topic, then press the 'x' button. That brings you to the 'Are you sure you wanna delete this thread?' screen. Copy the addy that's in the URL bar. Then go to your 'problem thread' (the one you can't access). Hover over the link to it. At the bottom of your browser, there it should show you the URL of the link you're hovering over. The last bunch of numbers in that URL is what you need. Write them down. They are the numeric code for that thread. Then, you simply paste that addy you copied earlier into your URL bar. However, delete the last bunch of numbers from it (as that is the numeric code for the new topic you made) and replace them with the numeric code for the 'problem thread'. Hit enter. You should be brought back to the 'Are you sure you wanna delete this thread?' screen. Except this time, it'll be for deleting the 'problem thread'. Afterwards, just go back and delete the new topic you made like normal. 19

How Many Join Request Can You Have at Once?
10 - TEN Once you get rid of your tenth, they are just queued up, you don't lose them if there are more than ten.

lol, Probably would be easier. XP
And yes, I do know he's here - I thought I'd copy the stuff over anyway so it doesn't get lost when the CG goes. It wasn't until the last post that I realised that it was also posted somewhere outside the CG. gonk

Clearly this thread needs a good deal of updating, but it doesn't seem prudent for me to do so until things are settled a bit.
