"Wait what? Woah, woah, woah. I was just kidding about the duchess thing." Terra said with curious innocence. "Why are we here to kidnap a girl, and a duchess none the less! I thought we were here for a map?" The island appeared to get a little closer, it was slightly past sunrise, the crew should be slumbering around down stairs by now.

The morning light filtered through pale curtains, gently falling on the alabaster face of Lady Elizabeth Downing. Warm chocolate eyes fluttered open has her mind began to register that morning had come. A soft bustle made her look around the room, seeing only her maid.
"Good morn, mi'lady." The maid greeted, opening the curtains all the way, the light setting the lady's dark hair aglow.
"Good morning Camilla." Elizabeth replied rising.
With that, Camilla began to prepare Elizabeth for the day.

Tristan was up with the sun as always, much unlike his lazy shipmates. Upon reaching the deck, he spotted the two women of the ship. After catching the end of their conversation, he decided to make his enterance.
"Do you not trust your captain, Terra?" He said, narrowing his eyes a bit, "If Wendy says we need to find this girl, then we do."

"Of course I trust her!" Terra said with a slight pout as Trist approached the pair, "It's just we haven't even dicussed any sort of plan.......and jeeze lighten up will ya?" She said adorably, noticing the glare, as she walked toward Trist, " She gently nudged his chin with her fist, feeling the roughness of the stubble grown that night.

"The last ship I was on would've cut your tongue out for talking to the captain like you just did." Tristan said gruffly, his glare softening just the tiniest bit. The young woman still had much to learn about life on the high seas, but he had a soft spot for the gunner; she had the enthusiasim that he had lost years ago.
"The life of a pirate is not one to take lightly." He said a little more gentler.
"Come on. There is still much to do before we reach land." Tristan commented, turning to begin the day's chores.

Wendy watched the exchange between Terra and Tristan. She really did love her crew. They were an odd sort of mixture of people, but that's what made them interesting. "Yes, but you can't take it to seriously either Tristan. It's a hard enough life without making everything serious." She said to him.

"True. The trick is finding balance." He called over his shoulder, picking up a mop and bucket.

"What are today's plans?" Elizabeth asked Camilla as her maid hung a gold and garnet necklace around her neck. Her maid had chosen a dress of brugandy velvet girted and trimmed in gold. It highlighted her natural paleness without making her look like a walking corpse.
"Your father and brothers are meeting with other noblemen, and I overheard your parents last night discussing the possibility of sending word out that you are ready to marry. But you, young misstress, just have to go pay a few calls with your mother, and then the day is yours." The maid rambled on, oblivious to the fact that Elizabeth paled at the talk of marriage.

((Ok then.))
The sun was high in the sky as the as the Ocean's Tears pulled into the port. Wendy shouted orders at the crew and the ship was quickly docked. The dock was familiar to Wendy, from the short time she had lived there when she was 3. Word had gotten to her that the duchess who had the other piece of the map had recently moved into the area also, so only one stop would be necessary.
"Alright guys, my plans are to leave by tomorrow evening. You may do as you please around town until then. I will not be waiting for you if though so you better be here when we leave. Just try not to get into too much trouble until we get out of here." She said addressing the entire crew. "That's all." She added so they would know she is done speaking.
As the crew scattered about, carrying on with their business Wendy headed below to get her things before going ashore.

Once Wendy had reached her room she pulled out a map of the island they had just arrived at. There were two marks on the map where she was hoping to find the other two pieces of the map. She was about to look over it when she heard a knocking that the door. "Come in." She said barely glancing up. It didn't matter if anyone saw her looking at a map. They were her crew after all and they knew she was here for a map.

Terra opened the door, and saw her captain hovering over what looked to be a map. "What are ya looking at?" Terra inquired as she stepped closer, noticing two marks on what was definitely a map, "What is this for?"

She looked up and saw Terra walk into the room She smiled a greeting to the young girl. "This, my dear Terra, is a map of the island we have just arrived at." She told her looking over the map. "These," She added pointing that the marks, "Are the places I'm going to need to visit to get my map. You remember...the duchess." She smiled jokingly then folded up the map and put it in her pocket.

"Oh dear......" Terra replied. She was quite worried about kidnapping a duchess, but she knew that if anyone could do it, Wendy and her crew could. "No worries," Terra quickly said, "Anything you'd like me to do captain?" She put her arm behind her head and smiled coyly.
