Before the Black Pearl sailed the seas the Ocean's Tears did with a tale just as wild.

The tale opens with Dan and his younger brother Edward. The both of them are pirates of course and are constantly competing as to which brother is better. Their father, also a pirate, returned from a particular expidition on the brink of death. Just before he died he gave to his son Dan, who he believed to be the better pirate,not only his ship, but a map.

This map led to the mot amazing treasure any pirate could ask for. However his father forbid him from ever chasing this treasure. "It's too dangerous." He told his son, "Nothing is worth what you will find at the end my son. You must never go after this treasure."

Dan honored his father's wishes, but Edward had other ideas. He wanted the treasure and didn't care what it would take to get it. Dan ended up throwing his brother out of the ship to keep him from the treasure. Then in order to keep safe this treasure he cut the map into 4 peices. He gave these peices to his son's and daughter's to keep the treasure from ever being found. Dan has died recently leaving his daughter Wendy in charge of his ship. Wendy does not know the perils of the treasure, all she knows is she has a peice of a map and knows the location of 2 of the other holders of the map.

Background: Having grown up both with out a mother and on a pirate ship with mostly men, Wendy grew up tough. She turned out all pirate and all boy. In fact when she was young some people did mistake her for a boy. She can act like a woman when she needs to, but only if it isn’t for days at a time. Her father left the ship to her after his death. Some people respect her, but obviously she has those who think she is not capable.

Background: Elizabeth has lived a rather uneventful life, even though her father has never loved her as he does his other children. She's always tried to please her mother and be a proper lady, even though at times it can be hard when the rumors of her being born out of wedlock are consantly being spread.

Appearence: At 6' 1", Tristan has a lean build with toned muscles. His raven-black hair is just long enough to fall into his midnight blue eyes. Like anyone who works outside on a daily basis, his skin is naturally tan. He has a tattoo of a phoenix on the inside of his right wrist. Wears a sword on his left hip and a long knife on his right.
Personality: Tristan has a "take-no-crap" attitude. He is serious about what he does and expects everyone to be the same. Despite being a rough around the edges, Tristan is a good guy who will look after those around him. He has a slightly softer side, but it takes a lot of work to bring that out.

Position: Gunner/ Wendy's Apprentace

Appearence: Terra is of average height, about 5'9'' and rather thin and lanky with little to no curves, which makes sneaking around and fitting into small places rather easy. Her deep green eyes compliment her golden blonde hair, which she wears mostly tied back with a few loose braids scattered throughout. She is, like most pirates, tan from sunlight.

Background: Growing up on the streets, Terra hasn't had the easiest of lives, getting by with her cute looks and charm (and pick-pocketing from time to time). In her early teen years, she worked as a vendor at a port marketplace for a jewlery shop, which is where she met Wendy. Terra tried to take the opportunity of an outsider in the shop and sell Wendy a painted rock, explaining to her it was a "large piece of rare Eastern Jade." Wendy, recognizing the fake, refused the girls offer. She did however admire the girl's spunk, it reminded her of herself in a way, and offered her a position on her ship. Terra accepted it immediately. Since then Wendy has sort of been a mentor in piracy to her.

Other: Although quite thin, Terra is extremely atheletic and acrobatic. She is quite skilled in guns, which is why Wendy gave her the position of Gunner; however, she is less than average with a melee weapon. She carries two guns on thigh holisters and a dagger around her waist.
