Aurak looked up ahead at the harpies he had been informed of, and drew out his bow, stretching out his string with his arrow aiming at the male harpy. "Damn these creatures are too fast." He said, firing one shot only to miss, he aimed another but turned to the others, "See if you can slow down their flight movement." He said, holding his aim at the male harpy, he seemed the most intimidating.
Nodding his head, the Overseer started to walk around in a circular pattern to give himself time to think. Angerfang looked at him, slightly puzzled but also focused on the possible attackers nearby. "Angerfang, I'll send few troops with you, I want you to check out the forest. Leave no survivors." The Overseer said, "Give no mercy." Angerfang said, running off into the forest nearby with three wrath warriors behind his trail.

Sophia had stayed behind with the Overseer. She hated being ordered around by anyone and thus stayed behind for the sole purpose that no one had told her to. Lyuude had went with some of the harpis into the forest in order to slow down the scouting party.
Drake nodded firmly. He jumped up grabbed a branch and swung himself up onto the tree. He was old, yes, but he was still spry and athletic. He leapt and lunged his sword foward. It hit a harpie female through the wing and she fell to the ground. He made a quick slashing motion before falling to the ground and a second harpie succumed to a figure 8 slash with a diagonal belt through the center. he fell to the ground, dead. Then Drake stabbed the harpie female through the heart. He placed his rapier back in its sheath and he raised his right hand. A circular fire emitted itself from his hand and expanded. Smaller circles opened up inside it and fire wyrms took flight from them. They flew upwards, each one taking a different harpie as its target. But the harpies outnumbered the wyrms and only a few fell victim to the flames.
