The Mogu Mogu no Mi was appaently a fruit that let somebody turn into a mole. Worthless. It could be helpful in limied situations, but it just didn't have the impact necessary to really make others respect you. He definitely needed another power, one that was sufficient to allow him to achieve his goals. Not a Fruit this weak, this unimportant, but something of real power that would have to be acknowledged by everybody. Real power... what was real power, anyway?

The Uma Uma no Mi would allow one to turn into a horse. That was probably useful for covering great distances quickly, since horses were among the faster animals when they were really running. But it was little help in forested areas, and was probably Vice-Captain strength at best... or whatever ranking the Marines used. Rednal hadn't studied their hierarchy very closely, so he wasn't very sure on what all that meant. Power, huh...

The Neko Neko no Mi, Model Leopard was said to be very good for close-quarters combat. Large cats were deadly animals, since they could bat away weapons, and most people steered clear of anyone who had eaten a Cursed Fruit that let them become something like that. He could see the appeal, and he really rather liked cats. It would be nice if his future wife had eaten such a Fruit. She would hopefully even be strong enough to fight with him.

The Zou Zou no Mi was not actually a useful Fruit in Rednal's mind, though he didn't doubt its power. It was just, well... it made the user into a much larger target, which was bad if your opponent had ranged combat ability. He just didn't see that sort of power as good for standing at the top of things, and crossed that off of his mental list without too much trouble. There were other Fruits to ponder on and eat, and that was precisely what he meant to do.

The Inu Inu no Mi, Model Wolf wouldn't be a bad one for his future wife, either. Wolf girls were hot, and he could certainly admire the sort of savage power such a fruit granted. Rednal nodded quietly and looked up, ingraining the will to fight into his body. He had learned what he could from this place, so it was time to move on to the next destination. He had almost reached his decision, and when he had, he wanted to be near to his destination. Rednal headed towards the port.

After leaving the nice bounty hunters, Rake got a lift to Clockwork Island and now he was here. He had found himself a good spot to train and become better. Nothing would stop him now. Yet first he would enjoy the silence. Nothing was as god as silence. He sat there and falling into his mind and not having anything destroy it. No one would ever ruin such a silence found at an Island or place like this. Nothing, no nothing.

It was utterly and complete silence that allowed Rake to shut his eyes. His sword was tasting the ground as it lied next to him just under his hand. It was an expensive weapon and a comrade for life. He would soon utilize his new found skill in the art of his sword. What would he not be able to do? What doors would be closed to him and what windows opened? It seemed as if nothing would ever stand in his way.

He was relaxed now. Nothing would disturbed Rake's peace, he had longed so for it and hoped that nothing would be in his way. He took a deep breath and his pulse got high. "******** birds shut the hell up or I'll cut you in half!" Rake grabbed his sword and looked at the birds with killing intent. The birds froze in their moment and in a moment of silence hell broke loose. Rake grabbed his sword and chased the birds around. chopping, slashing and thrusting after them.

He ran after the birds for a while with his killing intent. He would get those silence disturbing, low life, flying around pests if it was the last that Rake would ever do. Never noticing that his attacks with the b*****d sword was easier to do and far more effective then before. Quickly and genuine had his skill increased and he would find his very own style within this goose hunt. Yet then he noticed that the birds had suddenly increased their numbers and obviously waited for him to take the wrong turn. Rake 'Sharp' Cane turned in his track and begun to.

"Darn you birds attacking in numbers. I'll hunt you down later!" Rake was shouting as he swung his sword at the birds in front of him and defended himself from those behind him. It was like a big comedians dance. It was crazy really how this turned out but it seemed to have become a great way to practise new things with his own sword. Now just to learn new stuff and fighting birds was really tricky. One had to move around gently and very skilfully. What would come out of this training, Rake would soon know.

A very annoying bird was flying higher then he could reach or faster then he could reach and attack. It had a red spot for some bloody reason. It was indeed very annoying for it made the most noise then any other bird and it had to be punished. Rake had to think on a way to fight it in a fast way. Each time he swung his blade the bird went above it or ahead of it. He needed somethign fast and surprising. A real special thing.

Rake punched another bird while jumping and it seemed as if it was to fast for the bird to react which made a idea came out. Now Rake just had to plan it good. The red spotted bird was the third to come down and then the 5th, then the 3rd and so on. That was how it went and he knew more or less how the bird would come down the next time. The blasted bird would pay for it's disrespect of Rake's silence. One thing Rake held higher above all for only in silence could one truly think.

The red spotted bird was more or less laughing at the puny man as reddy went down to attack. Rake dodged it as he had done only to be attacked by a more yellow like bird but that was another problem. Now was the red spotted one that would taste the pain. The tip of the blade went into the ground and with momentum Rake moved forward with great speed and sent out a kick that hit the red spotted bird and sent it flying away, into a tree. it's harassing days was over for now and now he aimed towards the yellow bird.

The yellow bird was much bigger and took a punch or two. The only problem was that the bird always moved away from the attack. It wasn't powerful enough to attack it. Yet for each time it came down he increased his power. It never was enough. He couldn't increase his strength to get to the bloody bird. He was working on a plan though. He slammed a few other birds who came from the front. He was getting used to fighting the birds now and had stopped his running.

The birds where more accurate in their attacks as Rake had stopped running around. They where twirling around above him and looked for the openings. Rake did the very same thing back to them, the sad part was that he was one and they many. Now they where all eyeing each others out and waiting for a move. Some attacks came from time to time but Rake blocked them all with his new ability. What ever the way he would find a way to destroy that yellow bird.
