The home of Bear King and company. A fairly large island with a large castle in the middle. This castle serves as a home to Bear King and his subjects. The island isn't particularly dangerous since it has a good system of laws. Bear King is no longer in complete control of the area. It has been seized by Marines who regulate activity.

Kane arrived and looked quitly around the land and the marine base. He was a simple seamen. He would aim to become a admiral of the navy. A man soon came to kane and grinned "Hey want to learn a cool move called hunting the prey." Kane nodded and waited for him to describe the move. "This move helps you learn more and adept better with nature." he said again to kane. Kane then begin to speak quietly. "Instrsting seems like a good technique that would be good in battle or any time." he then waoted to begain training.

Kane and needles slowly walked out to the edge of the base and entered the forest to begain with intense training of the land. He moved onto a tree stump and sat down crossed legged and closed his eyes. Needles sat down in front of him and said "Try to focus and become one with nature." he said. "Yes sir." he breathed out and slowly focused hearing the sounds of the forest and all the creatures of the woods and the lands. He was quite and wasn't moving, soon animals started to interact with him. Birds landed on his shoulder and started to chirp. He opened his eyes alittle and saw the animals all around him and smilled and chirped allong with it. "Zipidy do da yippie ay ey." he said and laughed a little.

After he sang a little tune with the birds and the animals and needles besides him to. He opened his eyes and looked around the forest observing every little detail he could see. The animals were still besides him and the birds on him even while he was looking around. He good see every little ant on the leaves or a fly on a web. "Hmm this is a rather special technique that is in fact passive and enhance my natural abilities." he said to needles. "You are right kane it does enhance your natural abilities." needles responded back to. "You are getting the hang of the move hunting the prey." Kane breathed out and gave a tiny sigh "Thank you. You are not the best teacher but a decent one.

Needles nodded and got up. "That is all I am going to teach you for today kid." needles then moved deeper into the forest disappearing. Kane bent his head a little to the right. "Animals you think he was a d**k?" he asked them waiting for a responce. They chirped and roared alittle. "That is what I thought." he laughed and he soon got up and the birds still on his shoulders. He extended his arm and the bird hopped onto it and he brought it closer to his face and looked at it viewing every little detail of the bird's body. "Hmm intresting." he then threw the bird into the air and watched it fly away. He then soon headed back to the marine base.

Rednal sat down, crossed his legs, and began to meditate in order to continue his training, as well as focus his mind to learn from what he had observed. What sort of fruit did he want to eat? There was talk of a Heat Heat fruit, which was not to be confused with the flaming Logia one, that allowed the user to generate immense heat. That one actually could be useful if directed properly; it would certainly be difficult for an opponent to get close if their bodies would blister just from getting anywhere near you...

More of a joke was the Mini Mini no Mi. It woul be especially funny if that was eaten by a Giant from the Grand Line, but might be useful if you wanted to live on a miniature island instead of somewhere normal. It could also be almost Logia-strength for dodging sword swings and the like, not to be underestimated just because it was a simple-seeming power. If you were really smart, with a whole little you could do a whole lot. A very good thing to keep in mind.

The Kage Kage no Mi was slightly less variable; literally a Shadow Shadow fruit, it just didn't have the sort of impact one might otherwise expect. Controlling your shadow to grab other people would be useful, but as a strong power, it didn't really meet the necessary criteria. He could do better than changing the shape and size of his shadow, much better. And to accomplish his goals, there was no other choice but to work as hard as he could for something better.

One of surprising use was the Mero Mero no Mi; the fruit of love. If you seemed perfect to the opposite gender, then you could do a lot of things quite easily. Sadly, that was more of a fruit for females than for males, and he couldn't see it giving him too much help to reach the top of the totem pole so he could retire to his resort island. No, that sort of power was another one he'd have to pass on, though he wouldn't mind being able to use it on just one person.

He still needed to find a beautiful wife, after all. A fruit of surprisingly devastating power was the Nyuk Nyuk no Mi. Despite the name, it had been used to horrifying effect several times, and at one point, the entire Straw Hat crew had been flattened by it in minutes. No, despite the name and appearance, that was a power that no smart person would underestimate. To do so would probably be fatal. Laugh at a Cursed Fruit, and you were probably going to die.

Probably useful for assassins was the Doku Doku no Mi, the fruit of poisons. Both immunity to the types of the stuff as well as the ability to generate it, probably in large quantities. Again, not Logia-style, but if you filled an area with poison fog, then your opponent was going to have to retreat fast. Another power he didn't intend to acquire but was aware he should watch out for. Hooray fo poison, when used on his enemies, though. He could appreciate that.

Those were all Paramecia, though, only one of the three types of fruit. Many of the other Fruits could be useful as well. The Zoan category, for example. The Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model Bison, had made a small note in history when it had been previously used, and it certainly seemed to imply the possession of a great deal of physical power. It was never really a bad thing to have such an effect, though there probably were more useful abilities.

The Tori Tori no Mi, Model Falcon, had something of a larger impact on history, if more localized. A resident of one of the Grand Line islands had spent many years in service to its rulers with that power, and was widely respected and admired by the people. Also, how cool would it be to fly whenever you wanted? That was a Fruit you could actually use to go between islands with, no small feat. Very few Cursed Fruits allowed for things like that.

Inu Inu no Mi, Model Dachshund. Rednal had heard a lot of weird rumors about that one, including the implication that a gun had eaten it. Which was just bizzare, but that sort of stuff happened in the Grand Line. He wasn't totally sure what to think of a fruit like that, except that it probably wasn't safe and wasn't anything he wanted to consume anytime in his life. Though he might enjoy feeding it to another gun, just to see what happened. Maybe as a bodyguard? Rednal sighed slightly and lunged forward, slashing out as he did so.

The Inu Inu no Mi, Model Jackal, was another Fruit that had a small place in history, respectable but far from legendary. He wasn't sure he was particularly interested in becoming an animal so limited in its ability to go places. Even if it could run fast, it just didn't possess the necessary raw power to bring him to his goal of conquering enough so that he could retire in peace to his personal island with a beautiful wife... no, he needed something else.
