Celebrian almost missed Zero's question in her joy, but her eyes widened and she froze as realization hit her. "Pack!!" she exclaimed, remembering her stern mother, who would no doubt berate her for being out so late. Indeed, the sun was setting, and the landscape was fast fading into darkness.
"I... to be honest, Zero, I don't remember where they are," Cele breathed, a bit in shock. "I don't know where to go!!" She turned towards the older Helix, her eyes brimming with tears. "I think I'm lost! What'll I do, Zero?!" she exclaimed, turning her head to look around her. But she quickly composed herself, and stood to face the direction from whence they had traveled.
"Don't worry, mama. I'll find you," she whispered, her voice brave, yet still filled with uncertainty.

Zero went stiff, and his ears twitched forward at Celebrian's panic.
"Cele!" Her frantic energy seemed to be transferring to him. His head snapped up and he began sniffing.
"Come with me..." He mumbled, focusing only on finding some sign of other life. All he knew to do was head back the way they had come. He began veering through the trees, but found nothing. "Celebrian? Is this where we met?" He hoped it wasn't too dark for her to tell.
"Can you try to back-track from here? How far did you travel from them before you found me?" From this point on it was up to her. Even though he had an abnormally strong nose, he couldn’t pick up anything. This was a task that required sight more than smell at the moment.
