Nalfein I didn't like Versus that much. Azumi was fun. I heard Aragami sucked (I didn't see it, just 2LDK) and that Azumi's sequel will be with Chiaki Kuriyama. Aw, I liked Versus. It was pretty funny at times and there were some nice camera work at times. Hearing that a movie sucked doesn't really prevent me from seeing a movie, but I did hear a lot of bad things about Aragami. I'll just lower my standards and maybe there will be something I like about the movie.

I liked the scene in Versus where he puts on the sunglasses... and takes them off almost immediately. Also, the Matrix pseudospoof was funny. I think it was the fake blood that annoyed me and how everyone's face was pretty much doused in it completely. Also, the girl pissed me off.  This was my favorite scene actually.

xmkatx Kitamura also did Azumi. I'd like to see the Versus sequel and Aragami. I have yet to see Azumi crying I'd like to see the Versus sequel and Aragami also. I think they started filming the Versus sequel in April. oh and Sky High looks good. 3nodding

You've probably seen the Azumi banners and pictures here and there. I don't know how to describe it. It's sortof a samurai film, the heroine being Azumi who's skilled with a blade.

Yes. The protagonists are a bunch of spunky kids and Azumi is played by Japanese idol Aya Ueto.

ah, I've read up on the basic plot of it. I have a feeling I'll love it so I shoud just buy it next week when I have some money. sweatdrop

I think she's just one of those idols that has delved into everything - cinema, music, racing queendom, modeling. She has an official site though. I had heard of her before I saw Azumi. http://www.uetoaya.tv

i can't wait to see Azumi 2!!!
Oguri Shun is gonna be in it again! yay!! hopefullly it won't be like the first Azumi where he dies in the first 20 minutes! gonk . i'm also excited that Kuriyama Chiaki will be in it too.

Ryuhei Kitamura isn't directing Azumi 2. It's gonna be the guy from the Gamera movies and Ryuhei will be directing the last Gamera movie or something like that.

Takeshi Kitano is definitely one of my favorite directors. I need to see more of his works. He excels in not only drama, but comedy! I love his presence onscreen and how he demands respect as a Yakuza character. Although the motorcycle accident was tragic, the damage that caused his face to twitch really adds to his performance, although unintentionally. This is seen in Kikujiro, my favorite Kitano film that he also directed.

I think Fumihiko Sori is one of my favorite directors because every single one of his movies has achieved the legendary awesome status.
Sure, it was only one movie but whatever.
