"Just a little bit but don't worry its only us three and I won't tell a soul about it. Besides it was kinda cute." Smiling Starla noted that the other male seemed to have tuned them out. Looking questionably at him she shook it off. If he didn't want to listen to her then that was fine atleast she had someone to talk to. "So tell me a bit about yourself Astro. I've only just met you but I'm intrigued to find out what life's thrown at you."

Astrophel's ears perked when he heard Houkou talk and he turned to him. "Oh! Want me to hunt something for you?" he asked before his attention was once more driven away from the male adolescent he had raised.
"Thank you." he said, chuckling nervously. With his frantic attempt to maintain conversation with two helixes, it was hard to imagine he grew up with six other siblings. "Um... well, I grew up in a large family." he started, glancing back at Houkou, then Starla, and back again, trying to see who would talk next.

Houkou looks at Astrophel and then says "no I can get it myself..." Houkou looks at the female and then says "I never know mine...Astrophel has been with me seance i was a cub." he says to her and then sniffs at the air. he couldn't find the sent of any game so he lays down.

Starla found Astro's discomfort amusing. He acted as though he could only talk to one helix at a time and she wondered how he would act if there were a group of them. Nodding her head to Houkou she completely understood. "I grew up much the same way. I was taken in by my friend Len. We parted ways not long ago." The memory was bittersweet and Starla didn't think long on it. "How large was your family Astro?"

Astrophel gazed proudly at his charge. The young pup he had known was now large enough to be a good hunting companion and was even learning to hunt on his own. His thoughts were distracted when Starla spoke and his ears twitched, one turned towards Houkou and the other Starla. "Well, we were quite large." he murmured, laughing at the memory. "Six siblings, can you believe it?"

Houkou looked at Starla at what she said before and though about it he looked up into the sky thinking about his past with Astrophel. and how one day it must end, he dosn't know when but one day it will. when it happends what will happen to him where will he go, he dosn't reamy know anyone but Astrophel.

"Six siblings?! Where are you at in that huge lineup?" Starla couldn't even begin to comprehend it. The only time she had ever been with that many helixes she had only been with them for a few movements of the sun but living with that many helixes.....it had to have been too much. They probably drove each other up a tree. Glancing at the other charge Starla smiled. It was obvious he was the youngest of the three of them even if they were all the same age. He was interesting to say the least and Astro looked after him like a father or older brother. It really was quite sweet.

"I was the oldest." Astrophel said, not without some pride in his voice. Of course, most of his siblings had gone to his parents for help, instead of him, but still. It was always nice to know.
He waved his tail distractedly in the air and pawed at an itch in his ear, smiling fondly when his eyes landed on Houkou. Truth to be told, he considered Houkou more of his brother than his blood-siblings. He had needed Astrophel more than his other siblings did, and Astrophel had felt he was doing a good deed when he first helped Houkou from the forest.
