Starla was having fun. The warm south was just what she needed and some alone time away from the normal routine was nice. Falling into the grass Starla gazed at the sky. The sun was still in the sky but the time for it to go down was coming closer and closer with each passing second. 'I wonder what a sunset in the south looks like?'

Astrophel pressed his ears forward as he looked around the Southern Territory he was in. His father, Jaden, had decided to start a pack recently but Astrophel wanted to go exploring a bit more before he decided to settle in the East for a while. As always, Houkou was close to his heels. He had to admit, Houkou was one of the reasons he decided to stay in the pack. He felt the Houkou deserved to grow up in a family life, as his previous ones seemed to have abandoned him for some unknown reason. He felt bad for the pup, who was now a grown adolescent, and again he glanced at the stange, misty blue flames that danced about Houkou's paws and shoulders. He thought they flames on Houkou's shoulders looked like wings and he still wondered why his flames didn't burn. Perhaps they weren't real flames at all? They were, after all, blue. Astrophel shook his head as a break in the trees appeared, and he bounded out in the field. The dew had long since dried from the grass and he stretched, pleased. The snow storm he and Houkou recently faced in the East hadn't really made him fond of the cold and he was glad that the South didn't seem to be that way. Of course, it could have been because winter was ending. Well, no matter the reason, he liked it, and with a backward glance to make sure Houkou was still close, he bounded through, enjoying the feel of the wind on his fur with the sun on his back. That feeling soon disappeared when he stumbled head over paws in an attempt to stop himself. He had seen an orangish-blue female but halted too late and could feel himself colliding with something. He desperately hoped it wasn't the helix but he seriously doubted it, seeing as there was no other large object nearby.

Suddenly her peace was interrupted by not one but two helixes one who seemed to be heading straight for her. Eyes widening Starla tried moving out of the way but sadly fate had other ideas in mind. Getting smashed into wasn't exactly pleasant but seeing the male next to her now made it better. Laughing Starla found the position they were in to be hilarious and threw her head back rolling around on the ground where she had landed not so gracefully.

Astrophel stumbled to a halt near the orange-blue helix, his cheeks warmer than usual as he flustered about. "I'm very sorry about that." he said, running up to her. He directed a quick nod towards Houkou before returning his attention back to the female. At least she didn't seem mad. ...Unless she showed her anger through insane amounts of laughter. "I hope you're not hurt." he continued, trying to look for any wounds she might have recieved as she rolled on the ground.

Houkou casually sauntered over "I think she is fine, it's not like you're heavy." hr says with a big grin. he sat down next to Astrophel his tail wagging gently, he then yawned and stretched "I'm Houkou." he says to the laughing female.

Shaking the giggles off Starla finally returned to her normally serious self. "Don't worry. I'm unharmed. But you might want to be careful you might run into a much meaner helix and they might bite your tail off rather then blow it off like me." Realizing she just was sounding crazy still Starla looked at the blue flamed male. "Hello Houkou. My name is Starla. And what, may I ask, is the name of this heavy helix who ran into me?

Astrophel diverted his attention back to Houkou when he approached, and he fluffed out his fur proudly. He thought Houkou had grown a lot since they had first met. He was less timid, more confident, and Astrophel felt happy for him. He scooted to make room for him, and he looked to the female again, smiling meekly. "I will be." he said. He could tell immedietly she was older than he, and he tried to show respect by keeping his muzzle at a lower level than hers. With her young appearance, though, and her joke, he felt she probably wasn't as old as he assumed and he scoffed in mock anger. "Heavy? Why, I'm as light as a buffalo." he snorted, as if her words were an insult before a silly grin broke into his face. "Nice to meet you, Starla. My name is Astrophel, although you can just call me Astro if you'd like, and you already know Houkou's name." he laughed, waving his tail in greeting.

Houkou yawned as he had a lazy look on his face with a fox smile, "so you from around here?" he asks Starla, "i have to say your one of the more beautiful Females i have seen." he gives her a sweet smiles. he thought that seance she seems to have a seance of humor she might not bite his muzzle off for saying things like that. then agent he knows that Astrophel is going to bite him for that later.

Laughing at his little joke Starla looked at the two males. "Nice to meet you Astro. I must say its been awhile since I've laughed so much! Thanks for that." Trying to loosen up Starla knew these males weren't going to attack her so she had no reason to get tense. "No I'm from the Neutral territory. That's my home for the moment anyway." Blushing lightly at his words Starla was reminded of long ago of an old friend named Warren. "Thank you. That's very kind of you."

Astrophel gave Houkou a meaningful look, although not without guilt. He knew that Houkou was growing and that soon Astrophel wouldn't have to take care of him anymore, and he didn't want Houkou to grow too dependant on him, or else he wouldn't be able to live a life of his own. So although he disapproved of the act, it was only his opinion, and he decided he would let Houkou do as he pleased.
"No problem." he said to Starla, smiling. At the mention of her home, his ears perked. "That's where we're from, too." he said excitedly, wondering why they hadn't met before. It could have been because they travelled a lot and had gone to the East lately....

"Ah the Eastern lands. I have a friend who lives there, her name is Ama have you met her?" Turning to look at Astro, Starla giggled. He sounded like a little pup when he got excited like that. "Don't get to excited now Astro! I can hear it in your voice, you almost sound like a pup." Smiling she flashed her fangs in a friendly manner. These boys acted so funny. It had been awhile since she'd been in the company of males and she realized how actually different they were from females.

Astrophel looked at Houkou, surprised for a moment. The male had followed him for so long he forgot they had come from different territories. He smiled fondly at Houkou and flicked his tail before replying. "Not right at this moment, no. Thanks for asking." He perked his ears, tiling his head slightly. "Are you?" he asked.
He turned his head when Starla spoke, almost confused. He had spent most of his time with Houkou for such a long time that he was having trouble realizing there was a third helix involved. "No, I can't say I have...." he murmured, turning back to Houkou. "Have you?"
At Starla's next words, he felt his cheeks burn, and he chuckled. "I suppose I do, don't I?" he said.
