Leafpaw dipped her head to her leader respectfully. "Morning, Sprintstar." She purred. She looked down at the kits and laughed. "We're just playing." She informed her leader. Her tail curled. "May I go on the next hunting patrol?" She asked curiously. "I really want to catch my first prey....." She looked hopeful as her eyes widened.
Leopardfoot padded over to the small group when he had heard 'hunting patrol'. "Are you sure you're ready, Leafpaw?" He asked, concerned as he always was for his little sister.
Leafpaw sighed and glanced over at her brother. "Of course I am!" She hissed.
Leopardfoot chuckled. "Alright." He surrendered.

Sprintstar nodded his head thoughtfully. "Yes you may, but not yet, first we have a ceremony to take care of." Sprintstar mewed as he jumped on the highrock.

Leopardfoot sat down beside Leafpaw when Sprintstar leaped onto highrock.
Leafpaw gasped in excitement. Clan life was the best! She sat, barely able to keep still at all of the excitement. Beside her, her brother sat calm and proud. She envied him.

Leafpaw took a deep breath and closed her eyes before she stood. She stood tall and proud, just like her brother and when she opened her eyes, there was no doubt or hesitation in them. In a loud and clear voice, she yowled for all to hear. "I do."

Leopardfoot erupted into an excited yowl and then began chanting Leafclaw's name over and over. He held his head high. He was as proud of his sister as he would be his own apprentice. He rushed over to her and swept her tail over her flank, a purr rumbling from his broad chest. "Congratulations, Leafclaw."
Leafclaw gleamed. "Thank you, Leopardfoot." She purred.
"You do remember that you have to sit vigil tonight, don't you?" He asked.
Leafclaw nodded. "I know." She mewed. She turned to her mentor and gave a bright smile. "Are you proud of me, Cloudstep?" She asked, hopefully.
Leopardfoot flicked his sister over the nose with the tip of his tail and then looked at Cloudstep.
