Just like Dayo's daze inducing abilities, the smoke had it's own ability of drawing you into it's elegant, yet eerily tranquil movements. Ebony was simply nodding to every thing Mouse said, only half listening. That is until that pen was presented to her once more, effectively snapping her out of her awed staring.
"Oh! I'm sorry. Yes, sure. Whatever the doctor needs." A light blush dusted her cheeks as she took the pen from the other woman and scribbled out her signature. "Is that it? More instructions perhaps?" She didn't have the slightest clue what she was suppose to do with that vial of smoke or even the empty bottle that accompanied it.

"The whole deal's not that hard to describe," the mechanic replied, while neatly tucking the paperwork and its file away into its appropriate spot in the desk. "Make sure nothing breaks or goes missing, for starters, though uhhh... that's pretty obvious, isn't it?" There was a smirk and a joking quirk of an eyebrow, and she continued, with a dust-smeared hand gesturing loosely at the cloth-adorned orb of class that came with the fel essence. "Also, be careful with that thing. It's called a Soul Bottle, and it's meant for exactly what it sounds like it is. Handle it wrong and it could suck yours right out."
Not that she'd ever heard a case of such a thing happening, but she liked to think that was because everyone in the project was aware of how dangerous such a device was...
"Sooo, yeah. Catch the soul of something you think will go well with your fel essence - preferably something that won't get you in jail, but other than that it can pretty much be anything you can get ahold of. A tiger, a rock, a tree, a jabberwock... you get the picture. After that you bring everything back up, or mail it, whatever gets it here, and you'll be called up to get your Raevan when it's done."
Mouse paused for a brief instant, waiting for Ebony to let her know whether she understood her explanation, but at the tail end of that courtesy moment she piped up again. She'd almost forgotten to tell her how it works! "Oh-- right-- catching a soul's as easy as having the bottle touch whatever you're catching or placing it close enough, so... don't worry about trying to open it. And you probably shouldn't put it on your bedside table, either." Then she finally stopped her mini tutorial, fluffing the hair on the back of her head with a sheepish grin. That should be everything, now!

Ebony hummed slight as she took in all that the other woman had said. Didn't sound too hard, then again it didn't sound too safe either what with that soul bottle. She eyed it suspiciously, then just shook her head. Why should she be worried about some piece of glass? She'd been around things much more dangerous than it. Though...the thief didn't want her soul sucked out if she could help it. She'd just have to be careful and not sleep around it like Mouse suggested.
"Don't break or lose anything. Put bottle near whatever's soul I want to catch. Send in vial and bottle. Wait for Raevan to be created." The Brit recited back to the maintenance woman. "Seems easy enough. Thank you for your help Mouse. And please send my gratitude to the doctor. I won't fail him."
