Ah! Did you read Briar's book? When he went after Rosethorn? *sigh* Determination, plant magic, life as a theif, skills that go with said life, green eyes and golden skin.

That was a good book.
I liked Briar in the Circle of Magic and Circle Opens series. He kinda reminds me of me sometimes. He's better at picking locks, but I'm cleaner!

I haven't read Will of the Empress yet. No spoils!
And Briar was clean in the Circle Opens. He just kind of got into a lot of messy situations...

Wow, I didn't know there were other people out there who read Tamora Pierce books! I personally have only read the Circle of Magic series and the Circle Opens series, though. Not the best books I have ever read, but something about them makes me keep coming back to them and rereading every page.
Are there books that branch off the Circle of Magic series? I'm really interested! I've also always wanted to know what happened during the 4 year gap between the Circle and Circle Opens.

Yea, there is a branch, only its after they meet after their travels. The Will of the Empress its called. I personaly loved it...but then again...Im a Tamora Pierce freak! >< I LOVE ALL her stuff xp I liked her Immortals quartet the best though, the one about Diane, and the magic, and the animals, and the gods...*rants on furthor about how great it is*
