Fai looked back over his shoulder at Kia and frowned, but couldn't bring himself to entirely glare at the lower demon. They had been wandering through a forest and Kia had proven to be too curious for Fai's liking. Suddenly, a feeling came over the both of them and they exchanged glances. "What the hell was that?" Kia asked, the breeze slightly ruffling his hair as well as Fai's. The hybrid shrugged his shoulders and turned to see a large tree in the distance. Now, he was curious and walked forward with Kia trekking behind him like a lost puppy. When they came to the tree, Fai scowled, seeing the girl and...he had no idea. Kia was beside him and quite aware of everything, his eyes darting everywhere and ears perking from time to time. They sat there for a moment before Fai teleported into the tree, looking down at the girl. Kia remained where he was stationed, and pulled out a dagger, ready to defend himself of anything, though he doubted this girl would cause them harm. "Little miss witch!" Fai shouted down to her and leapt from the branch he crouched on to the ground, landing gracefully. "Now what's a pretty gal like yourself doing here?" He glanced at the floating hat and whisp of green and raised an eyebrow. Kia emerged slowly from his hiding place and came to stand near his 'master'. "Waren du hergerufen da?" He asked the witch. Fai sighed. "English, Kia." He said bluntly. Kia blinked and then repeated his question, "Were you called over here?"

Kia scowled at her and didn't lower his blade, but held to it tighter. "Scheißkerl, hexe." He muttered and his eyes narrowed, though he said nothing more to her. Fai flashed Kia a look and then met the witch's gaze. "Even though Kia here is the most stubborn and annoying baka I've ever met, he makes sense. Who are you?" He asked. Kia ignored his statement, folding his arms, scowling.

Fai stared at her for a minute then smirked and turned away, looking to Kia. "Come on. " And with that he grabbed Kia's arm and teleported them into the tree. Kia crouched on a branch while Fai stood nimbly and leaned back. "What a brat..." He muttered, crossing his arms and letting his tail fall over the branch. Fai glanced at him and gave a small smile. "Baka. Cool it." He said.

Kia glared at her and threw one of his daggers down at her like a dart. It barely missed her and landed mere inches in front of her. "Es ist mir schnuppe das dein name ist!" He snapped, and leaped from the branch, with increadible speed, grabbed his dagger, and leapt back into the tree, but to a different branch than Fai.

((Kia said = I don't give a damn what your name is!))

This time it was Fai's eyes who narrowed. "Don't even try it. Underestimating us will merely lead to your undoing, and besides, you forget that together you fight a hybrid and a demon." He said, his voice cold. Kia glared down at Lyra and took the blade of his dagger in his teeth, and lifted the hilt with his hand, straightening it slowly. Like it was brand new. "Mist hexe..." Kia muttered, lowering his arm, dagger clenched tight. Fai's wings flicked, slate eyes boring into the witch.

((Kia said: Damn hexe.))

"Feh." The hybrid turned away from the girl, crossing his arms, his golden hair ruffling with the quick turn of his head. His slate eyes fell on Kia, who's eyes narrowed dangerously and tail thrashed. Fai could see the demon's sharp canine teeth within his barely open mouth. And he knew Kia was pissed off. "I wouldn't try it..." But Kia heard nothing as he leapt for the witch and seized her from behind, making the both of them fall from the tree and crash to the ground. The demon held his dagger to the witch's throat, eyes glinting. "What did you call me?! Sein schatz?!" He growled, voice sharp.

Kia shuddered with anger and held his dagger tight, but appeared to relax and sneered at Lyra. "It's kinda sad that you need a bubble to protect you. Dose nicht schlacht?" This was Kia's other tactic. If he couldn't physically harm his target, he'd taunt and diss them. Fai merely watched from where he stood, and first frowning. But after a moment, a smirk appeared on his face. "Yes, pet, it seems that way." He called down to Kia in playful tease. But Kia shot him a sharp scowl, not quite a glare.
