Patch felt like even though she was born without a family she did live a very happy life. She had experienced so many adventures. All those adventures failed to compare to this moment. Her heart pounded and her mind was at ease.
Patch tried to watch the stars, which Kahawa pointed out. It was hard at first to look away from him. "Yeah, Zahina did a great job making this moment. I wouldn't have changed a thing," She said. Then her attention to the stars was diverted because Kahawa licked her. She laughed and playfully licked him back. "I love you with all my heart as well."
Her mind drifted off slightly as she thought about the future. She hoped to start a home and maybe raise a family. Of coarse, she didn't mind what would happen in the future as long as they were together. "What do you think the future holds for you and me?" she asked, hoping he was thinking the same thing she was.

"What I think the future holds for us..." Kahawa mumbled repeating the question. There were so many things he wanted for their future. He focused on the things he wanted the most. "Well, maybe we could find a pride. Ekala Adhãra is nice but I've heard there are more. Besides that I was thinking of expanding our family.." Kahawa gave a hopeful look at Patch. "You know, we both had a lone youth. I want to do the job better than my parents."
Kahawa wondered if Patch would get what he was saying. He knew she could drift off easily, but he liked that trait of her. It made him laugh often when she snapped out of her mind and had to ask him again what he was saying. To be sure he asked it her directly. "Patch, would you like to have cubs with me?"

"Oh, I heard some lionesses gossiping and it turns out that Ekala Adhãra has withered away. Not that it really matters right now." Patch said to Kahawa when he began talking about the future. When she heard him ask about cubs she was overjoyed and whatever she was just talking about was instantly unimportant.
"Yeah, I would love to have cubs with you. I really would."
She agreed with him so much about doing a better job then good old mom and dad, whoever they were. She couldn't wait to see how great a family they could be. Kahawa was good at keying in on personalities. He knew her very well. So, Patch was confident that he would be great with cubs. And she could play with them and make up adventures and games to play. All in all, Patch believed they would be amazing parents.
