Mrs. Draco Malfoy Shura-Pendragon Shura looked thoughtfully at page 71 and raised her hand, "So Professor, what would happen if you used the Poly Juice Potion that was made for a human on an animal?" "Hey thats a good question. I hadn't thought of that. My name's Serenity Sinclair, whats yours?" Serenity turns around to shake her hand. "Oh, my name is Shura Pendragon! I just transfered from Beauxbatons in France!" She shakes her hand back, "It's nice to meet you ma amie!"

"Enough chit chat. Now about miss...." He hadnt paid attention to who it was. "Good question. Polyjuice was used back in the eightenth century on several mice and cats as an experement. Olnly about half of the animals lived from the change. And only about a fourth of those who lived actualy transformed. The transformation did not last long though; only about five minutes. It was the belief that animlas did not have the brain power to withstand the potion, but modern magic reveals that because they had no MAGICAL ABILITY was the reason it would not work. No a' days it is strictly forbidden to use polyjuice on animals or even muggles. Although testing on muggles has not officialy been tested, the ministry does not want that to even take place...." Professor Levi began to slowly fade away, mumbling to himself and fumbling through his ingrediants.

Tori slipped into the classroom, knowing she was a bit late, and slid into a desk near the back.
She unpacked her ingredients and textbook hurriedly, peeking onto a nearby Gryffindor's book to see they were on page 71, titled Polyjuice Potion.
She flipped to the page, heated her cauldron on the fire, and began adding necessary ingredients.
'Stewing for 22 days?? He's having us make this complicated a potion for our first assignment of the year??'
In the past years she'd been here, Tori had usually been only subject to simple little potions such as Flesh Changedraught, a very easy remedy that could change a person's skin color. One student, she recalled, had brewed it incorrectly and wound up giving himself scales instead of mocha-colored flesh.
She sighed. 'Ah, well... maybe he's trying to give us a jolt or something...'

Shura nodded, pleased with the answer for her question. She looked back at page 72, the Polyjuice Potion. She agreed with Tori that it was strange that they were starting off with this potion but said nothing more as she started cutting the roots for her potion.

Cahley flipped absent mindedly in Moste Potente Potions and turned to page 71. She stared at the horrible images on the page of people halfway transforming into someone else. The intense looks of pain of their faces was a bit scarey.
