Taronja placed a paw forward, swaying to the right, and brought the paw back. "I had the fortunate experience of meeting one of these Goddesses, so I need no more convincing." He smiled and took two steps to the left, sighing as he noticed that dancing really wasn't that hard after all.
"So hear I am, dancing away." He said, opening one eye to look at the violet female "And yet I know nothing about the helix I am dancing with." He took a step toward her, and said "Who are you? I mean, I know your name, but nothing else."

Hyacinth's eyes lit up slightly, upon hearing the statement. "Truly? You met a Goddess?" Her tone was airy with awe and wonder. To meet a helix that liked the art of dancing, and had met one of the revered Goddesses? What star was shining on her?
The violet helix stepped a her front paw behind the other, leaning into her sashay. Her ears perked as he began talking once more, enjoying the exotic lilt to his tone. She smiled softly, turning and swaying her shoulders as she stepped to the right. "Well, I was born and raised here with my brother, Fain, by our free spirited mother... I found the rhythm when I was a pup, finding it easy to step in tune with a song." She smiled pleasantly at the memories, side-stepping to the left. "I don't see much of my brother anymore, as he's on his path now.." Hyacinth sighed softly. She missed her brother, dearly...
Shaking her head, Hyacinth offered the fiery male a delicate smile. "Is there something else you may wish to know about me?"

Taronja smiled and paused a moment, picking up the tempo again and swinging the end of his tail in time. "Yes I did, she was quite nice...though I could see how she would be very frightening. Scared the helix I was with almost to death it seemed like." He laughed, a deep throated chuckle that rolled out in subtle waves of baritone. Smiled still on his maw, he ventured to ask. "Where is your home and who" He paused in his words, trying to pick words carefully, "Do you share that home with?"

Hyacinth listened intently as she moved, paw stepping from side to side a little faster. She giggled lightly at the remark, "I can imagine so. But what an experience that must have been.." She trailed off into her own thought, as her tail skimmed the grass, kicking up stray blades.
His proceeding question made her curious. Though she smiled, "My home is not far from here. And I only share it with myself." A small tinge of loneliness crept through her voice, though it was unintentional.

He dropped his head sheepishly, saying "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry...I was merely curious..." His dancing stopped as he feet began to grow heavy. He sat down gratefully, sighing as his weight was shifted off of his front paws. "I don't know how you can dance for so long. Don't your feet hurt?"

Ears twitched curiously at the statement, as Hyacinth glanced curiously over at her companion. She smiled and shook her head, stepping behind her right paw with her left, and her body following suite smoothly. "It's quite alright, you weren't prying.. You asked, I answered." The violet helix's movements wound down, until she came to a rest near Taronja. Her tail curled loosely around herself, as she smiled once again. "They do, sometimes. Just after practicing so much, I can go on for awhile before I start to tire.." A sheepish smile escaped her, as her ears lowered partially. "But you did wonderful for your first go! You seem rather in tune with your inner rhythm."

His face felt hot as he blushed with her compliment. He watched her rhythm wind down as she came to rest, and he really got a good look at her without the shifting and twisting of the dancing. Without the movement, her fur tended to say a single shade of purple, a shade that glowed in the sunlight. He looked at the sky, noticing that it was starting to darken into the first blues of twilight. They had danced for what seemed to be minutes, but in actuality had been a couple hours. He inhaled deeply, tasting the misty night coming. "It's getting dark." He said, feeling stupid for stating the obvious. But what else was there to say? His head felt muddled slightly, but he couldn't figure out why.

Hyacinth inhaled softly, the crisp oncoming night air filling her lungs. She nodded slightly, as she glanced up at the coloring sky. A light smile had crossed her face. Today had been such a fantastic one--truly unique. "Will you be heading home now?" She asked lightly, glancing over at Taronja. Her gaze switched back to the sky.

He looked back at her, and said lightly "Are you kidding? The night is when things really start getting interesting. And when the hunting is good for most creatures." Taronja smiled in the growing dark.

The female blinked slightly in surprise at his response, though she smiled back brightly. "Yes, of course.." Hyacinth nodded, before turning her attention towards the clearing. Glow bugs had begun to waken, lighting up the growing darkness with speckles of golden yellow light. The light violet helix smiled, watching them flicker. As a creature of impulse, it was hard for her to resist playing with them. However, she remained in her spot, enjoying the oncoming night.

Taronja noticed the glow bugs also, watching them flicker to and fro, much like the dancing he had just learned. He sighed, thinking about the new skill, wondering if perhaps, it could help him out in the future.
"Say..." he started, looking to the right of him, feeling slightly embarrassed

Hyacinth gave a small, contented sigh, watching the insects at their aerial play. Her ears perked up as she heard Taronja speak, glancing over at his with curious, silver eyes. Was he embarrassed, or was it a trick of the light? "Yes?"

There Taronja paused, unsure if he should continue. What was he thinking? But he wanted to know..."Is dancing...something that....femmes like?" He coughed, face burning hotter than the end of his fiery tail. "I mean, would it catch someone's attention?" His eyes remained downward, wondering why on earth he was asking it, but doing so anyway. The words were out now, and he waited to be teased by Hyacinth.

Hyacinth listened quietly, blinking in mild confusion. He was embarrassed over such a question. However, she couldn't help but giggle at his post-question. "It caught your attention, did it not?" The violet femme giggled lightly, shaking her head. "But I suppose so. Expression is attention catching." A light dust of red covered her cheeks, though it was soon shaken off. "You have a certain someone in mind to impress?" She asked lightly, curious.

His face flushed even more, and he slightly hated himself for even bringing it up. "Well......" he said slowly, casting a glance at Hyacinth before saying "She......I only met her once....." Now that he was expressing it, he felt silly and awkward. He had met this femme once, why would he be taken so quickly?
He sighed "She probably doesn't even remember me." Taronja smiled, weakly, and said "Nevermind."
