i saw a stage production last year and they didnt include the song "little people" by gavroche. i got so mad so i decided to play the song in the car on the way home from my soundtrack of it. hehe.

OK, theres a few thing that I really hated:
1)PEOPLE PRONOUNCING NAMES WRONG. I hated it when people said things like *Ga-vert* pronouncing it the way it looked and I even had a friend who pronounced Gavroche as *Ga-vra-chi* stressed I also knew some people who pronounced Thernardier as *Ther-nahr-di-air*
2)PEOPLE PRONOUNCING *LES MISERABLES* WRONG, such as saying things like *Less Mes-er-rah-bles* stressed
Those are the 2 most annoying things

When We did Les Miserables back in the fall, all the songs were there but a few were just shortened and it wasnt all that bad...except Stars. They cut out the enitre begining and he started with "Stars...In your multitudes..." By the 5th rehersal our director said "You know what? Screw it! Let's do the whole thing!"

Just one slice of your pie = I see a twinkle in your eye.. eek
Bargin Prices up against the wall = 'Ello dearie come and meet us all.
All this to make it 'kid friendly' yet Javert still kims himself and we all die a slow and PAINFUL death. xd

When our school did it barely anything was cut out and I mean barely anything, just a few lines here and there but thats Mac for you, and it was still a great show, it was spetacular ^_^

Wow, at my school, we are doing everything, and even adding a scene from the book. It won't butcher the play, in fact it makes it a little clearer for the audience. It will be so amazing.

At the first attack, when the guard break though the barricade. Marius is going to shoot one for Gavroche, then graba powder keg and threaten to blow up the barricade. I'll post the lyric is I get permission for the author, my friend.

The worst think would have to be when people automatically say it's a boring show or whatnot. Or this girl in chorus who hates the songs just because for the first time in her life she's not on 1st soprano. stupid prima donna..
that and my director saying she doesn't think anyone would enjoy doing or seeing Les Mis. eek
