When did you all become Aerosmith fans? Just curious. I am a pretty recent fan. I haven't been a fan for too long, but I was like hooked to them after I really started listening to them and played Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Just discovered a lot about them and became really fascinated. Plus, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry are hot. I wish I would've known about them earlier.

it's a shame that this music from the 70's 80's and 90's couldnt be our time. because personally, Aerosmith songs are like some of the funnest songs to dance to mrgreen

I know, right? D= I wish I was born like way earlier like maybe the 60's or something just so I could actually be alive to see when Aerosmith or Queen really made it as big time bands. My Mom is always saying, "This song was crazy popular when I was in elementary/middle/high school." Wish I could've been there =[

well, the songs these days get overplayed then tired of very quickly. while the songs from back then, theyre timeless and i never get sick of them.
and same,
but i actually grew up around more rock and roll than i think because this past spring when i started listening to them again, i would put on certain songs and i'd be like "Hey.. this sounds so familiar!" like when i heard jaded again, the second the guitar riff started i was like "I know this song!!!!!!!"
then by the second chorus i remembered how this was my favorite song when i was little and the second time i listened to it after that, i could sing a ll the lyrics
i was very happy that day mrgreen

Lol, that's great =D

I never really bothered with my parents music back then, I just drowned it out for the most part. Considering my age, of course. When I was really little, the songs that mattered were The ABC Song and Mary Had a Little Lamb. When I got a little older it was *Nsync and stuff. Then later on in middle school, it was pop. Part of high school was mostly pop and then I got into rock and my parents seemed to listen to it more after I started listening it. That's what it seemed like for the most part or sometimes we'd be in like a store or the gym or something and Mom or Dad would sing the lyrics or something.

I usually hate to admit when I like something and just judge too quickly before hand. Like I listened to a couple Aerosmith songs and I'm like, "Hey, these are pretty good." I mostly stuck with "Jaded" and "Dream On". When Guitar Hero II and III were out, then it was "Last Child" and "Same Old Song and Dance" that I really liked as well. Mom would say, "Since when did you become an Aerosmith fan?" I said, "Like...never..." She's like, "Ah, alrighty then." Then I started finding way more songs I liked by them and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith came out so I found a bunch more I liked. Then I'm like, "That's it! I love Aerosmith!" I couldn't hide it much anymore lol. Not sure if I told you all that story or not yet.

Hmm I guess I have always enjoyed the music when I was a kiddy. I did not known who Steven Tyler was until a few years ago when my mum nearly hit him on his motorcycle with our truck. I did not know who he was until *after* this mind you, so I did not get to meet him but I was so bloody close! After that I picked up a copy of Just Push Play and fell in love :3

Yeah, I know. Today's music shouldn't even fall under the category of "music". It sounds so awful. I was getting into that stuff, too. Since I got into mostly 60's - 80's rock, I pretty much wiped my iPod and got into my parents cd's. A fresh start ^_^ I just need way more Aerosmith songs. I have quite a few, but yeah lol. If I get money or something, I'm going to go on ebay and blow it off on Aerosmith cd's =P I wanna own 'em all =D

Your mom almost hit Steven Tyler? o_o wow.

I didn't really listen to their music when I was a kid. Didn't know who these bands even were. Also, I'm not sure if my parents would've thought that listening to Aerosmith around me would've been appropriate or not, but if I was at that age, I wouldn't know what they meant =P

I remember Steven Tyler being on Lizzie McGuire. It said on every commercial, "Steven Tyler guest stars on Lizzie McGuire @ (time here)" and all of that. I just knew what he looked like and his name, but I had no idea he was from Aerosmith, even if it was mentioned in the segment he was in. I didn't know who Aerosmith was at the time. I didn't really acknowledge who Steven Tyler really was. I remember my Mom asking though, "Is that Steven Tyler? surprised " I'm like, "Yes, it is." lol. Years later I'm like, "Oh! So that's who Steven Tyler really is!"

I first started listening to Aerosmith when I visited the beach. I heard Rag Doll and Sweet Emotion on the radio, and I really enjoyed them. So, I decided to buy Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. It was awesome!
