Crazy Spring Fling!?

How'd they meet??:
Soothsayer galloped forward on a mission. The humans spoke so highly of this "picking up women" thing and he wanted to know what all the fuss was about. He ran for a while until he came across another Winiko. What luck, it was a female too. Boo altered his path and ran towards her.
She simply stared at the charging elder trying to figure out what he was doing. Before North had much of a chance to react Boo lunged forward and snatched her up never breaking stride. "What the hell are you doing?!" Northridge yelled as she began thrashing and clawing trying to break free. "LET ME GO!"
Soothsayer, ever the gentleman, tried to explain and calm her down but alas, he had a mouthful of flailing Winiko. "Mrrrph! Mrrrngrr..." It seemed that by picking her up he could no longer speak properly. Boo never imagined such a lovely little lady would be so (rightfully) vicious. Is this why the human first suggested hitting on her?
Not wanting to make it easier for her to tear away at him Boo shifts into a canter. The change in movement made North realize how fast the ground was moving by and that she was not getting very far trying to tear apart his tough hide. "Nevermind, nevermind, don't let go!" She cried out while changing her strategy from frantic swats to clinging desperately not wanting to get dropped and/or trampled.
... and thus they rode off into the sunset.

How'd they meet??:
Oracle was on her way to mercilessly hunt down her human and bestow upon him his fourth mauling of the day. She pondered his whereabouts while flitting erratically above an overgrown field. Suddenly she noticed a rustling in the grass and a large swaying armored tail jutting out from the source of the motion. It would be a crime to leave such a gargantuan insect uneaten... thus she promptly stopped fluttering and pounced upon it. To both of their surprise it was a winiko collision. The scorpion king had not seen it coming but now did see a very confused female on top of him. When their eyes met before he could say anything she proclaimed. "When I spotted this magnificent carapace I had to see its strength for myself." Orion stared back still thrown off by everything. It was an amazing cognitive feat when he was able to muster a reply. "I know, I'm awesome right?" The female gasped in awe. "Awesome... Really??? Wow!"

How'd they meet??: "Psst, come over here." Half-whispered the suspicious looking cloaked figure to a sunny colored wini who was walking by. The first thought that came to the winiko's mind was: Wow that looks JUST like any other suspicious roadside fortune teller in any manga series EVER.
The second thought was: Oh I REALLY hope that's what she is! Maybe she'll tell me about my future love EEEEEEE!!! heart (The hearts that began floating around her rather awesome-like expression were no illusion, for the suspicious roadside fortune teller (that's indeed what the cloaked figure was) chuckled and smirked knowingly as if saying That's indeed the case. To accentuate this she also said "That's indeed the case." )
Aplysia, for that was the winiko's name, bounced excitedly on the spot as if being bitten by multiple mosquitoes (ah, spring) and came closer to listen. The fortune teller made a few otherwordly gestures, glazed over a cake (idk why don't ask me) and spoke slowly, in a trance: "My little yellow devilish friend, today you shall meet your fate... with fish."
-"Oh, I will do as you say, great fortune teller!" Exclaimed Aplys. "And then my true love will come to me, right? heart " (More heart-shaped apparitions materialized as she asked this)
-"Precisely." Answered the fortune teller, now eating delicious cake.

"OGONE, DON'T-!" It was too late. Nautilus' sister had thrown everything off the hillside- his basket and its contents, meant to be their family picnic, rolled and bounced off into the distance back towards the lake. Nautilus had spent hours catching those fish. Ogone lay on her side casually now, silent and watching expectantly with that purposeless evil of hers. She obviously wasn't going to help.
Nautilus grumbled and searched for the next ten or so minutes, picking up the basket and stuffing the food he could find back in. Finally, only one piece was missing... that fish he'd caught earlier. He recalled it rocketing out when the basket had hit a rock, as if guided by some divine will. The silver-blue winiko swept his gaze across the landscape for hints- and saw- WTF. The fish had managed to spear itself onto another winiko's horn.
"Hey! Excuse me?" He called, but she ignored him. Awh man. Nau ran up besides her to try again. And... ...Yeaaah it was a pretty weird sight, having a fish-kebab on your head like that. He had to repress laughter. "Sorry to disturb you, but could I have a moment please?"
The sun-speckled wini finally turned to him and glared. "I'm BUSY right now!"
-"Uhhh... busy doing... what?" He asked, a bit tentatively.
"I'm going to MEET MY FATE WITH FISH, and you're getting in the way!" She huffed. "Now don't get in my way!"
-"If you're talking about fish, I think you've already... met some kind of fate with one, yeah."
For some reason she was completely interested now. (He could tell because her voice turned all pretty and happy.) "REALLY? HOW? heart " She asked, little hearts materializing as she spoke.
Nautilus was intimidated by this.
-"I... My fish. It's speared on your horn."
She lifted a paw to her horn and dislodged the fish, much to her own surprise. She reddened considerably. "Oh. H-how embarrassing. Sorry, I was too focused on... um..." And that's when she realized.
He was her fate with fish. She giggled, smiled and fluttered her eyelashes at him charmingly. He was actually very good looking! heart
At the same time, Nau realized that she was awfully adorable and pretty and cute, and she was flirting with him. This was the first time any girl had flirted with him. Picnic forgotten, he smiled too, and gave in to the scent of spring.

Meanwhile, up on that hill, the ever expressionless Ogone was... grinning.

Lazily on a stroll through the dryer part of the forest at night, Orion stumbled upon a curious scene: A pretty blue and stone winiko staring at the water. Curious, he snuck closer, wondering what was so gosh darn interesting about the water. And low and behold! There was a handy rocky outcropping nearby so he didn't have to get his paws wet, complete with a being to prank!
Starshine was so entranced by the reflection that she didn't seem to notice that there was another, darker, and closer reflection of another winiko in the water. That was until the moon started to disapear... "OH GODS NO! THE MOON! COME BACK MR. MOON! " She was screaming at the water and then quickly looked up to the sky. On the way her eyes caught sight of a grinning winiko seemingly picking its teeth with its claws...
Her eyes stopped there and she fumed. " You! Moon! Hack it up! "
Orion, amused, gave her a puzzled expression. " It was delicious." A sly grin started crossing its way onto his face, " But, you know, a reflection is just a reflection... Its not like I could eat light." He stopped, thought about that and then grinned to himself. That would be fricking awesome if he could though! " But, I'm sure a king like myself could totally eat light if I wanted to. Please don't be mad. Orion will make it up to you. I promise. " He smiled, the tip of his tail lazily waving back and forth.

A surprised scream muffled and then a thud.

Anodyne woke up on the floor to a blurry vision of blue. The object in front of her was too close. She side glanced to her left-another demon passed out cold with the same rag covering its face. Irked, she looked upward and then it hit her. The Blue Fairy from Pinocchio was kissing her, but it was strange rhthmic kisses with lots of air, no tongue, one claw on her nose and forceful lovetaps on the chest with its other claw. Wait. Fairies don't have claws. And as another claw heaved her chest, it hit her simultaneously, quite literally and figuratively. It was male and the sexiest winged thing she laid her eyes on, but a girl likes to be asked. The romantic "Prince Charming" mood she set up in her mind vanished faster than Houdini on a viagra run. She kicked him off and rolled into attack mode.
"I beg your pardon? I was giving you CPR to revive you." Noble and delightful, he stepped back to give her room. She looked to the passed out demon then back at her blue would-be savior.
"I'm sure you can find better things to smell than that... and better company." His wings flapped magnificently. Her mind was slow and her introduction was even more reluctant.
"I'm Anodyne."
"Charmed, I'm Arion," said the ever so patient wini.
And so that's how the ever-rainbowlicious Anodyne found her knight.
