Swim47 Watashi wa ice cream wo tabetai desu. Watashi wa mango wo tabemashita desu. is this right? xp It's very close. There is no "desu" after "tabemashita".

miruuku I just noticed, many are using it but i've never seen it before so thats why i'm asking. is it correct to add "desu" when saying 'rame wo tabetai" ? Yes. When you change a verb to its -tai form, it ceases to be a verb and acts as an adjective instead. But since the sentence must end with a verb, "desu" is used.

xSaphire-Chanx Watashi no Raman tabetai desu xD ((Is this correct?)) It's close, you just have a few mistakes. The sentence should read "watashi wa ramen wo tabetai desu." "wa" indicates that you are the subject. "wo" indicates that ramen is the object.

happyprincess007 watashi wa tabemasen lemon watashi wa tabemasu pie watashi wa tabemasen lemon ma-rang pie You're close, but you're still ordering your sentences the way you would in English. In English we would say "I eat the food". In Japanese, we say "I the food eat". The verb must come last. So instead of "watashi wa tabemasu pie", it would be "watashi wa pie wo tabemasu".
