Crysta's hands loosened their grip on the staff once she recieved confirmation the staff, and hence wand, were her's forever. She looked adoringly upon the weapon for a moment before redirecting her gaze back to Aphordite. "Oh! Your the greek goddess of beauty!" She exclaimed with hardly any sign of doubt or questioning. It certainly made sense to her! "Your so pretty, I should have guessed." She followed up with a firm nodding of her head.
The rest of what she shared was a little hard for Crysta to digest however. Her brows furrowed as she tried to imagine someone not being the sort to use such powers for good. "Thief." She repeated softly. So there was another person out there giving other people like her powers...only they were not the nice sorts of people... Crysta lifted a knuckle to her lips and began to nibble upon it worriedly. It was one thing to fight the Chompah. It was small, and because she was magical she knew without a doubt she had to win. But to fight another person like her? That was scary!
Crysta looked to Aphrodite with her worried expression growing more deep. "What should I do if I come across one of these other children? I mean...if they are good then it would be great. But if they are one of the bad ones...I don't want to hurt any people Aphrodite." Crysta's eyes blinked and she sat up a bit as a thought occurred to her. "Oh! Can...can you make one of my friends special too? I just know he'd be a good guy! We're like siblings! I wouldn't want this Thief person to get to him if he has a power too!"

"Don't forget love and sexuality." She smiled at that. Needless to say she wasn't the Goddess herself, any more than someone named Jesus was the reincarnation of Jesus....different pronunciation of course, but still. The ego stroking did always go over well with her. She knew she was a fine piece of a**....but who didn't like someone praising them for it?
As she watched Crysta's darkening look the smile held on her face. "Dear, when that time comes your body will know what to do. You may not want to hurt someone but they will want to hurt you, just defend yourself and don't go looking for trouble. That way you'll only find the real bad guys and you can deal with them how you see fit, don't go pressing for answers now. When you need them...the answers will come to you."
At the mentions of someone else being awakened she frowned a little. "Sorry dear, that's not how it works. If he has a power I'll find him. Just like your wand he'll get his own beacon if he needs it, for now you can look for others with powers. Maybe they'll have something strange you may think is a beacon or a tattoo or something, I'd suggest keeping your identity secret though and just keeping an eye on them instead."

Crysta's dark look brightened a bit when Aphrodite would mention love and sexuality. "So feminine!" She giggled softly. A surge of spontaneity struck her, as it often did. Crysta leaned forwards to grasp Aphrodite in a tight hug. "I will listen." She eagerly promised the pink clad woman. "I will look for the good guys and try to help as best I can. I will defend myself and I will -not- go looking for trouble. I am very good at listening too!" Crysta could not keep the bubbly giggles from escaping her lips as she thought of all the good things that simply listening had done for her.
She needed to mellow though. When Aphrodite would tell her that she could not just give powers to anyone. Crysta's hands slumped a bit and she resumed twisting her fingers around her staff. "It's going to be so hard not telling anyone. I'm not good at keeping secrets. I totally break down and tell my sister what her birthday present is every year...and Christmas...and when I skip school..." She glanced sheepishly up at Aphrodite. "It's like I get so excited and distracted I forget to not share things...but I'll promise to do my best to keep this to myself."

"Sweety, I'm not the reason you should keep it quiet. The reason you should keep it quiet is for your safety and your friends and family. If someone bad finds out they may come after you or someone close to you. If you want to tell someone I wont stop you, my only job is to welcome you to this world and help you along the way....it's possible you may never see me again," she said with a faint smile.
With that Aphrodite stood up from her perch. "Well, looks like tea time is up," she said, laughing a little as she tapped the empty knocked over teapot. "If you find you need help....don't worry, I'm sure you'll find another kid with powers." Sure, she wasn't that helpful....but helpful wasn't in her job description....hell she didn't have a job description....one could easily surmise she did it just for funsies....but she did have her own little reasons behind everything, as well as a reason for certain children she chose....but they'd find that out later. "Get home safely~" she cooed as she turned away.

Crysta's eyes widened a bit at the intelligence showed by Aphrodite. Oh! She had not thought of that! She'd never want her sister to get hurt because of her! Or her friends! "OOoooo." She expressed her dawning surprise verbally. Then she blinked a bit sadly. "Oh, really? That's so sad though, I would really like to see you again Aphrodite. Still... Thank you very much for the wand. I can't tell you how happy I am to have it." Crysta stood up herself along with Aphrodite and tightly hugged her staff to her chest.
"I will look for other kids just like me! I won't waste this power at all." She vowed. Crysta paused her happy hugging of the staff to watch Aphrodite leave. Such a wonderful person she was. Crysta tapped the butt of her staff on the ground and took a moment to admire her magical outfit. She was a super hero now! Hmm... But super hero's always had villains to battle... Crysta felt a small wave of uncertainty. Yes...it would be a really really good idea for her to find some other kids like her...but for now.. Crysta glanced up at the fluttering butterflies....for now she was just going to sit here and watch the butterflies for a bit, before hurrying home of course.
