i have always been taught that abortion is wrong, that abortion is murder of a poor inocent child of God. i myself am 1000% pro-life... yeah i have no idea what its like to be raped thank God... but i have been told that abortion is ok only if the mothers life and health is at risk...
honestly i would give the child up for adoption because i couldnt bear the pain of knowing i killed a person, a human being... i know that childbirth and giving up the baby for adoption is painful but not nearly as painful as living with this thought...
as far as the church's view on the situation i honesly believe its up to the priest or whoever
in the bible it says: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nation I appointed you." Jeremiah 1:5

I am going to jump off of this idea, sorry to sort of jump in half way through and all, this is a hard topic, when people say to me I am pro-life we are all pro-life, and we are all pro-choice, so people don't use these terms. Also people don't pick a choose a part of Jeremiah, state the entire phrase not just the sentence. Rape is a hard topic to discuss because the issue it self is clouded. People will argue this way or that, just because an evil act has happened, does not mean that there should be another to continue the evil. To this I say I am not sure. Emerald has stated one of the nicest view points. I agree with some but not all. Truthfully, I have come across, many women who have had abortions, from a mental stand point it is terrible, a scare that they carry for there life. But I have also talked with many rape victims, I know how this scare is deep and can never be fixed. So to the level of the psyche I can only begin to imagine the pain, of both. But I say to this I have no answer, only to listen when I am needed. It is a hard question that has no real answer unless presented at that time and moment. We can sit and judge saying what is wrong, and what is right. But I will do what I have done, listen.

Dividing Solid it is a hard question that has no real answer unless presented at that time and moment. We can sit and judge saying what is wrong, and what is right. But I will do what I have done, listen. I am more of the mindset that the only being that can judge you for such a decision is God alone.

I can agree with that, but with rape it is hard. Like many things in life there are not always the answer to questions.
