Minor detail with the Pond/River theory - if they wanted that to be the case, why isn't Song a ginger? Or Amy blonde?
Additionally, I'm curious how they're going to explain how River never shows up before halfway through Ten's reign.

I actually like River. It's fun to see someone twek the Doctor once in a while. The only thing that bothers me is the scene between River and the Bishop where he says something about her killing a very important man. I'm afraid that might just be the Doctor!

II Tenth Doctor II I wonder if River could be a Time Lady? She does seem to know a heck of a lot about The Doctor and how to properly fly the TARDIS, but I suppose any companion could. I still wonder because none of the other companions seem to have such knowledge. Rose, Donna or Martha didn't know what she seemed to. /mycrackpottheory As much as the Amy-into-River theory makes sense, the widely accepted theory in this house is that River is a Time Lord who will kill the number eleven once Matt Smith's had his fun. shukuo Additionally, I'm curious how they're going to explain how River never shows up before halfway through Ten's reign. River's meeting the Doctor out of order. This was mentioned in that one where they brought the Angels back. This supports the theory that she's a Time Lord. She seems to be able to jump all over the place to meet him out of order, and go back in time to make sure the Doctor meets her in the right place at the right times, rather than leaving it to fate and they meet in some sort of consecutive order. Does anyone remember what they named her in that episode??? Although I don't like to think the Doctor's children would eventually kill him. Can you tell that I really think River's a Time Lord? I don't think that River is any companions child or related to the Doctor. Although his clone "daughter" did seem to like to tweak him I think there's some sexual tension between the Doctor and River that needs to be explained. I think she's a future aquaintance who becomes a companion. Sort of like the thief who the tenth left the flying double decker with but instead of leaving she decided to stay with him. We'll have to see!

i have a 75 percent chance she is who she says she is, but a 25 percent chance its the pond/song theroy thing. she certainly has an attitude close to amy's.
but i havn't seen every episode, only from 2005 on.
im usally wrong.

A friend of mine thinks River Song might be the Rani, since she has all that Time Lord knowledge. That she might have concealed her actual Time Lord identity in a fob watch.

I wasn't aware of that connection...
Maybe I should keep a closer eye on my daughter... mrgreen mrgreen rofl
Well, I don't think she's the future doctor as then why would she have "retreived" him to fight the angels (she wouldn't need him if she were him).
I'm still not sure if she doesn't kill him or at least contribute to or cause his death.
