Yes, but since the lie would be referring to the original statement, his nose growing would then make the statement true. Which means his nose would not grow.
I guess I'll accept that answer... ._.

Ok, I'll try to explain the best I can.
Pinocchio said that his nose WOULD grow. He did not say at what point in time. He had to have been thinking of a lie that he was going to tell at some later point in time. If he was going to lie at a later point in time and did so, his nose would grow from his later lie. Thus rendering the original statement true.
HOWEVER, if he had never planned on lying that would make his statement a lie, thus making it true, thus making it a paradox.
My first explanation is the one that I was trying to put out there. Had he said, "My nose is going to grow now", then it would automatically become a paradox.
Of course, all of this is assuming his nose is going to grow when he lies, like in the story.
