Vera laughed, "I guess so. But you have to stay here for three weeks. Just until we dont need you anymore. Then you may return home."

Vera smiled sweetly, but you could see the coldness in her eyes. "My stylist will take care of your...... cleanliness." She snapped her fingers, and a very small woman with pure black hair walked in.

Vera pulled the stylist aside. "Make her look just like me. Spare no expense. Just add a small black mark on her neck, permanent, so we know the difference. I dont trust this one...." The stylist nodded, and Vera walked out silently.

Vera laughed, and clapped her hands joyfully. "Very good stylist!" She said happily. "But you forgot something." The stylist grabbed a black pen-like object from a cart, and pushed it into Nikkis neck. "You may feel a slight sting." the stylist said. When she pulled away, a black dot was in her skin. It looked like a black pool of liquid settled an centimeter under her skin.

"Nothing." Vera said, smiling. "Just a blemish we had to get rid of." She pulled Nikki down the hall. "Now, to your room. you will be staying in one of the finer chambers." She looked at her expectantly. "I expect you not to ruin it, or get it dirty in any way. It has a few accommodations you may not be used to, including indoor plumbing, and a drawer which holds your other outfits. Also, there is a bed, which will be an extra special treat for you, too." She clapped happily, and led her down another hall.

Vera smiled, and patted her back apologetically. "But ours are real, not just a dream, my dear." She led her into her chambers, and showed her around. "The bathroom is here, the closet is there, and your sitting room is there. This is your bedroom. It is all very hidden, and the main door is the only exit." She pointed to all the places as she talked. Vera looked Nikki dead in the eyes. "If you EVER think you are going to leave, or do anything to annoy me, just remember, I am the ruler of this kingdom, and what I say is truth, and what you say is a lie. And I can lock you in here whenever I wish." Her smile returned, and she grinned happily. "Just remember that, sweety, if you ever disobey me." She walked out the door, and she slammed it shut.
