Jared picked the doe up in his arms and slung it over his shoulder just as a snake slithered into view. He turned to Sam and asked her, "You're a regular beast master aren't you?"

Sam tilted her head not understanding what he was asking as she stood up as the wolf watched them. The snake wrapped around her arm, she petted the male snake.

"Well if you guys are comin' lets go." he said to Sam and her animals. He started his way back towards his cabin, wanting to cook the doe and lock the undead away from him.

Sam followed him, the snake slithered away as they came to the cabin. Sam watched the snake leave as the wolf sat outside the territory of the cabin.

Jared turned around as the wolf sat down. "She can come in. It's okay, if anything I'd prefer her to come in.... She could help us get rid of the meat from the doe. And if you like you guys can rest here for the night." he said as he opened the door to his cabin. "Home swet home." he said with a admirative tone and set the doe on the table. "Come on in, make yourself at home."

Sam looked to the wolf as the wolf got up and followed Sam in. Sam looked around the cabin, the snake slithered back to Sam giving her a knife she drop while looking for her wolf.

Jared watched how the animals flocked to Sam and closed the door securely and locked it tight. He walked to the wood pile next to his fireplace and put a few logs in it and lit them. Then he walked to the table and began to skin the doe.

Sam dug her nails into one side of the doe skin and peeled the skin without doing damage to the meat. The wolf lay near the fireplace as the snake slithered onto Jared's arm hissing. Sam hissed at the snake making it slither away from Jared.

"Your friend doesn't seem to like me very much." he said to her jokingly as he pulled the skin off the doe and tossed it onto the floor. "Just put it there for now, I'll make a bed for your wolf." he said to her as he pulled a butchers knife from one of the drawers and began to cut into the meat of the doe. "You're pretty good with those hands of yours." he commented

Sam smiled, "Thank you," she said then noticed books and wondered what they were. The snake wrapped around the leg of a table as the wolf watched the snake carefully. "What that is," Sam said pointing to the books.

Jared nodded at the bookcase. "Those are my fathers books." he said to her as he pulled a piece of the does shoulder muscle off and placed it on a plate for the wolf. He then walked the plate to the wolf and set it down in front of her. As he did this, a small rat scurried across the floor and ran towards the table.

The snake wrapped around the rat quickly and swallowed it. The wolf looked at the plate of meat and walked to it. Sam watched the snaked swallow the rat. "Books," she asked curoiusly. The wolf began eating the meat but kept her gaurd up sensing something outside the cabin. Sam looked at the wolf and studied her know something was near the cabin.

Jared nodded at Sam. "You know... You read them." he said to her softly as he walked over to the bookcase and pulled a book about wolves from the top shelf. "Wolves of the world." he said with a smile and handed the book to her. "Have a look."
