The creature leaped at Rikku but she quickly sidestepped and missed her.

(((OOC: You can't just skip to Yuna when it's still the other monster's turn. The order of battle is in the first Attack post. So technically, I (or either one of us really) would have to roll ONE 20-sided dice for the monster to see if it hits Rikku. If it's over Rikku's AC (from the character sheet) then it hits and then another post is needed to asses damage. After that, THEN it's Yuna's turn.)))

The Grunt's attack however, fails to hit Rikku.

Angry at the Grunts are getting the better of them, Yuna twirls her staff in the air.
"Valefor!"
Her summons works as Yuna steps back out of battle to allow the Aeon to fight for her. The winged beast swoops down upon the grunt.
