I love the way that your heart breaks.
With every injustice and deadly fate.
Praying it only be new.
Living like it all depends on you.
Here you are down on your knees again.
Trying to find air to breathe again.
Only surrender will help you now.
I love you please see and believe again.
With every injustice and deadly fate.
Praying it only be new.
Living like it all depends on you.
Here you are down on your knees again.
Trying to find air to breathe again.
Only surrender will help you now.
I love you please see and believe again.

↘ Pandion wasn't stupid, she wasn't exactly slow. She knew something was wrong but couldn't put her finger on it just yet. It felt like Thomas was hiding something, almost like he had something to say but was holding back. She gave the best smile she could but it almost hurt to. Since the night she lost them, she hadn't spoken of them. The angels wouldn't tell her anything about them either. Eventually she stopped asking. But there were times when her past tackled her head on. The very thought of talking about it all, getting it off her chest and then going into a good old fashioned and well needed crying fit sounded great now. She held back. Pandion's eyes became less bright, as did her smile. Whatever pain she harbored, she wasn't going to break down here. Besides, she had been just fine for years, nothing was going change that. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. . .
She simply stuck her tongue out at him playfully. He may have his devious moments but he wasn't the only one. By the look on his face, he was actually thinking about how to be troublesome. She moved slightly so her legs were positioned on the bed beside her. Her right arm on the gentle mattress of the bed, holding her up.
Pandion never really had the chance to find out who she was. In heaven, she was kind of a loner. They didn't quite understand her but they were so protective of her. She tended to shy away from them and keep to herself. She had never gotten the chance to become close to anyone other then her parents who had met their deaths before their time. Now, she wasn't saying that she didn't have people that she didn't care about in heaven and visa versa but she didn't have many. And the people that she did care about there, they really didn't comprehend how she felt. When she told them that her one wish was to live on Earth, they immediately started putting her down. Maybe that was why she was so scared of being here at times, the words that they said echoed through her mind though she had been here many times before to protect a human.
But as a rule, she never developed any friendships or romantic interests with any of the humans she had taken care of. "New memories. . ." she repeated softly. Would she create new memories here? Better ones to help her forget the bad? Maybe Thomas could help her create better memories. Though they had only met one earlier that morning, she already considered him a friend.
As she spoke, Pandion watched Thomas crawl closer but she didn't stop until she had to. He seemed so interested in what she had to say, she didn't know if that was good or bad. But she did know that he was probably hanging onto her every word, she had to be careful about what she said. "I. . . don't know. They just treated me like that ever since my parents-" she stopped. Pursing her lips together, she looked away from Thomas's eyes and looked at the mattress. So much for being careful, she almost told him. Pandion knew that in all reality, Tom should be kept completely ignorant to any information on the place yet here she was blabbering on about it. He looked more energetic and for a moment, she expected him to get up and start running around the room but he did not.
She took a different approach. "I'm one of them. But they won't tell me anything important. I'm ignorant as to why I'm treated so special but I am. And they weren't very happy to let me come to Earth." she admitted softly. Her eyes turned dull. Pandion still did not look up, she was scared to meet his gaze. Scared she may give away everything that she did know and maybe more. ↖

I love that youre never satisfied.
With face value, wisdom, and happy lies.
You take what they say and go back and cry.
You were so close to me that you nearly died.
Here you are down on your knees again.
Trying to find air to breathe again.
Only surrender will help you now.
I love you please see and believe again.
