I love the way that your heart breaks. With every injustice and deadly fate. Praying it only be new. Living like it all depends on you.
Here you are down on your knees again. Trying to find air to breathe again. Only surrender will help you now. I love you please see and believe again. XXXXXXXXX𝕻𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝕾𝔦𝔩𝔳𝔞𝔫𝔞 𝕽𝔬𝔰𝔢 ↘ The moment Pandion entered hallway of dormitories of Northstar Academy, her eyes scanned over the numbers on the front doors of each dorm until she found the room number that the secretary had told her when she had called this morning. Pulling a key out from her front left jeans pocket, she stuck it into the door and turned the knob then entered. The door closed and locked behind her. The building was pitch black, her hand scanned the walls for a switch. When she eventually found one, she flicked it on and watched the rooms flicker to life. She was standing in the living room, the kitchen was to her left. A hallway seemed to branch out of the room. That had to be where the bedrooms were. Shrugging out of her jacket, the Angel set it on the back of a couch before kneeling down to remove her snow boots. She carried the boots and her jacket through the hallway and opened the doors. There were two bedrooms and a study.
She picked the white and turiquose bedroom and shut the door behind her. Pandion neatly set her boots up by the dressers. Slowly, she moved towards the closet and hung her jacket up. It was quiet in here, very quiet. Her things were already here due to a helpful angel that had been sent to escort her. Plopping on the edge of her bed, she looked around the room slowly. It didn't feel much like home yet, making her suddenly feel homesick. Brushing her hair back, she then folded her hands into her lap. Would she have a room mate? She hoped so. It was far too quiet here for her to stay by herself. It made her feel lonely and isolated.
Falling back into the bed, she spread her arms out beside her. Her feet touched the floor. Laying that way for at least ten minutes, she pushed herself up and walked over to the dresser to grab her ipod touch, a parting gift from her angel friends. Unraveling the white headphones, she put them to her ears and returned to her position on the bed. Craig's voice sounded through her ears as he sang Something, made by her one of her favorite bands: Escape the Fate. The Archangels frowned upon the music, it was 'inappropriate'. They all thought that the human world would corrupt her. She still liked soft and peaceful music but what was wrong with liking the rougher and faster music too? They just didn't understand and they probably never would.
"You look at me through cluttered eyes, I know you see through my lies. See the sky; see the stars. All of this could be ours. Out of sight, out of mind. We've been through this a thousand times. Turn your back and then you make me feel so crazy." He sang, and she sang along with him. Knowing the lyrics by heart by now. Her hair and wings lay spread out around her. The wings were long enough that they hung off the bed, the very tips touched the floor. A few feathers lay around. ↖ I love that youre never satisfied. With face value, wisdom, and happy lies. You take what they say and go back and cry. You were so close to me that you nearly died.
Here you are down on your knees again. Trying to find air to breathe again. Only surrender will help you now. I love you please see and believe again. ▋ ❝ ● ● ● ❞ ▋

________________________________________________________________ Out Of Crack[ers] :// A large breath of oxygen and carbon dioxide left Thomas' mouth as he repositioned the backpack he had gained on his shoulder, and made sure the travel case that he was rolling behind him was actually moving correctly, before he actually began to search for the key that he had shoved into his pocket after getting his things. Getting his things had been a kind of pain, but at least he had gotten here early enough for them to actually give them to him. Tom hadn't removed his hood yet, and was dripping slightly from the snow that had melted on him, but other than that he was perfectly fine. No one had tried to do anything to him on his way here, so he was happy about how the last few hours had played out. "Dancin' in the desert, blowin' up the sunshine. . ." The boy continued to sing and hum along with his music, before he reached the door that led to his room.
Looking down to see that there was already light pouring out from the cracks between the door and the floor, Thomas could tell that his roommate was already inside. Well, now was better a time than any to meet this person, right? Before he could convince himself to just walk away, Tom put the key into the door, and turned the handle. Pushing the door open and walking in, he reached up with his free hand and removed his headphones from his head, letting them sit around his neck. His music, this time a song by Ed Solo called Age of Dub, radiated out from the speakers inside the headphones as he took a look around the living room. "Bigger than I thought it would be. . ." He mumbled to himself once again, before he took a few more steps into the room, the door closing itself and locking behind him.
As his steps were more or less silent, and he had made sure to clean off his black leather boots before walking into the building, Thomas didn't really bother with taking off any of his clothes. The amount of water dripping from his jacket wasn't enough to soak anything, so he figured it was fine. While he continued to look around for any sign of life other than the light that had been turned on, Tom had a small smile on his face as the sound of his next song soothed him a little. This time around it was a song by Escape the Fate called It's Just Me. I'm not one for the crowd to see. It's just me. It's just... Right after he had mumbled out the lyrics to his newest song, he took a step down the hallway that could only lead to the bedrooms. Deciding it was best to just avoid the other person's room, Thomas went into the room that was left dark and slung his backpack onto the bed that stood on an elevated surface in the middle of the room. After rolling the travel bag so that it was against the wall to the right of the door, Tom figured he could just unpack later. This was going to be the start of his school experience, and so far it didn't seem all that bad. . .

I try to give it all away, but it's never gonna fade It's something I don't wanna face I know you feel it's all the same, But I promise that I'll change.
I know I'm not the perfect one, the pain has just begun It's something I already chase You bring me to a better path, it's everything I asked

XXXXXXXXX𝕻𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝕾𝔦𝔩𝔳𝔞𝔫𝔞 𝕽𝔬𝔰𝔢 ↘ The song slowly changed to another Escape the Fate song, Not Enough for Truth in Cliche. The angels would really fall over and croak at some of the music she was getting into. Sitting up, her wings simply vanished. The coloring in her hair slowly began to fade, starting from the tips up. Turning into an icy blue color. Her eyes turned into an icy blue as well, this, this was her human form. The form she used when she did not wish to walk around in her true form, as an angel. Pandion felt the vibrations of someone entering before she heard them. Removing the left ear piece from her ears, she heard something rolling across the floor and footsteps. Sitting up, she edged towards the door of her bedroom to exit it. Might as well greet her room mate, right? It would have been rude not to.
Opening the door, she easily slipped out of it. Her hair cascaded down her shoulders as she crossed the hallway to move to the bedroom across from hers, she left her bedroom door open a crack. She hesitated before knocking on the other door. What was her room mate like? Were they kind at least? What gender were they? What species? If it had been another angel, she would have known immediately but she could tell that it wasn't. The tips of her hair dripped slightly with melted snow. Her body was still cold from having come inside from such freezing weather. Instead of fooling around with music, she should have taken a nice warm shower.
Shifting her weight to her other leg, she waited patiently to meet her new 'roomie'. The girl easily slipped into her own thoughts for the few seconds that she waited. There was so much to think about. And she still had to call her guardian and tell her that she had arrived safely to her dorm before the woman freaked out and flew down to Earth in a panic. Surely, she would try to drag Pandion back to Heaven if she came to Earth. Pandion had to prevent that. She did not want to return home for a while. She had left her ipod on her bed but she still had the lyrics playing in her head. Hurtful words of my enemies of the past five years. What's it like to die alone? How does it feel when tears freeze, when you cry. The blood in your veins is twenty below. . . ↖ I love that youre never satisfied. With face value, wisdom, and happy lies. You take what they say and go back and cry. You were so close to me that you nearly died.

________________________________________________________________ Out Of Crack[ers] :// Oh my god...That song is awesome. :D Pulling the headphones back up to his head, while making sure one of the speakers wasn't over his right ear so that he could hear if anything was happening outside, Thomas began to let out another large yawn as he walked over to his bed and opened his back pack. Sticking his hand into the dark inside of the bag, Tom quickly dragged out a black laptop and placed it on the bed, before he also took out the charging cord. He was more than happy to look around for a power outlet, before he reached into his pocket and swiveling his finger across the ever so familiar scroll wheel on his old iPod, and began to smile once again at the music that had become even louder after he had switched songs. "It's driving nails into my soul, angels from my door. Driving nails into my soul. Something inside... " He began to sing out in a slightly louder tone of voice, still making sure not to be loud enough for the sound to travel through the wall.
While Thomas was still preoccupied with finding an outlet that he could charge his laptop with, he heard the sound of a fist knocking on his bedroom door. Raising an eyebrow, Tom slipped his headphones off of his head once more, letting them rest around his neck before he heading towards the door again. The charging cord was now laying beside the hardware it went to, so he had both of his hand's free. Reaching to the door knob, Thomas couldn't help but catch his breath for a second, before pulling the door open. The person that stood in front of him seemed extremely familiar, but then again, she didn't. He wasn't quite sure he had ever met someone with icy blue hair, and wasn't quite sure the eye's were the same anyone else either. . . Yet where had he seen her before? Racking his brain for only a moment, Thomas couldn't help but draw a blank. "Hello." He greeted her with another polite smile, a feeling of awkwardness running through the back of his brain.
No matter who he was, you couldn't really expect someone to notice a hair color and eye color change in a person that he had only just met, right? So it wasn't at all uncommon for Thomas to not know who this girl was. Shifting his weight from one leg to the other, Tom dug his hand into his jacket pocket and pressed the pause button, the song quickly halting as it started on the chorus again, while the song continued to play inside the boy's head. He had listened to that song countless times, so of course he was able to memorize the song all the way down to the notes that the guitar played. . .

Here you are down on your knees again. Trying to find air to breathe again. Only surrender will help you now. I love you please see and believe again. XXXXXXXXX𝕻𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝕾𝔦𝔩𝔳𝔞𝔫𝔞 𝕽𝔬𝔰𝔢 ↘ The moment that the door opened, Pandion stared at Thomas in shock. He didn't seem to recognize her. She laughed, putting on a warm smile. "Hello Thomas." she greeted softly. Well, this was a pleasant surprise. Better than sharing a home with a complete and utter stranger, no doubt about that. "Colorful wings? Colorful hair? Purple eyes?" she said, tilting her head to the side slightly. Wondering if he would get the hints. If he didn't, it would be rather pathetic. It was kind of awkward, but Pandion couldn't blame him. It wasn't like he knew her enough to know what she looked like in her human form. There was no doubt in her mind that she would get along with the Incubus, though she tried to get along with everyone. Her first encounter with him had been just fine, so she felt comfortable enough around him. Funny how in the end, it turned out they would be seeing a lot of each other. Amusing, she should have known by his presence yet she hadn't picked up on it before.
Her blue eyes brightened as she folded her hands behind her back. That warm and relaxed smile still on her lips. Hopefully the angels had nothing against her roommate. They could be so uptight about small things sometimes. Though she was sure that Incubi fit into the demon side of everything, the angels were probably complaining now. But it wasn't the boy's fault and he hadn't done anything wrong. But she was sure that wouldn't change anything according to the higher up angels. Shifting her weight to her other leg, she pulled herself out of her reverie and returned her attention to Thomas.
She watched as he fished hid ipod from his jacket pocket. Why hadn't she noticed before? His eye color was really interesting, rather bright. She couldn't rid herself of the excitement she felt of knowing that at least someone who she had least met before would be her roommate. She wondered how he would feel about it though. It may be an awkward situation for him and again, she wouldn't hold that against him. ↖ I love that youre never satisfied. With face value, wisdom, and happy lies. You take what they say and go back and cry. You were so close to me that you nearly died.

________________________________________________________________ Out Of Crack[ers] :// I like to listen to it a lot. :3 Raising an eyebrow as the girl in front of him spoke his name aloud, Thomas was about to ask if he knew her, when she began to list things about a certain girl he had only just met. while she laughed slightly, Tom thought that this was one of those moments when a person would want to hit themselves for their own stupidity. "Pandion? Sorry . . . You changed so that you look human. . . " He stated his own thoughts as he let his smile brighten slightly, while the rest of face still looked as tired as it usually did. He was one of the people that always looked sleepy, no matter how long they had slept the night/morning before.
He felt even more ignorant when he noticed that he probably could have noticed who it was if he had payed enough attention. Her facial structure and posture was the same. It was kind of funny that an Incubus, the race that was supposed to be the ultimate womanizer, was the one that hadn't noticed that he had already met a girl. Oh how his ancestors would probably roll over in their graves. Looking between her and his room, Thomas took a step back and held out his hand towards the contents of his room. "Want to come in?" He asked with his eyebrow raised after noticing the warm smile that she had on her lips, along with the way she had moved her hands behind her back. Well, at least Thomas knew that his school year wouldn't be that bad now . . .

Understanding easily, though her face didn't change much at all. Still the same gentle and flawless skin and expressions. Thomas was an amusing man, his smile was bright but he the rest of his face looked like he really needed to sleep. Maybe I should leave him alone. she thought. She snapped back to attention at his voice. He just asked her something didn't he? What did he ask? Oh, I should listen more. Well, he was holding his arm out towards his room so she supposed that he had invited her inside. Yes, that was what most people did when they wanted someone to enter. Taking a few steps into the room, she looked around. They managed to decorate both bedrooms well. This one was a little too dark for her and she was scared of darkness. No, not of darkness but of what lurked inside of darkness.
Turning slightly to face Thomas, that warm and shy smile appeared again. "Nice room." she commented. He hadn't really seemed to unpack anything yet. Though she did notice the laptop. Did he plan to use it before she disturbed him. "I hope. . . I hope I'm not being a bother." she whispered with a light frown. Each time she moved her head, her hair swayed with the movement. It went past her waist just slightly. Finding it rude to actually just walk around his room, she stood by the raised bed. How did they managed to put it on a raised floor like that? She wondered. ↖ I love that youre never satisfied. With face value, wisdom, and happy lies. You take what they say and go back and cry. You were so close to me that you nearly died.

________________________________________________________________ Out Of Crack[ers] :// I usually do that too. It's perfectly fine. I was gone all weekend, so I didn't have a chance to reply either. :3 Letting a small yawn escape his lips after he had nodded in reply to her saying that it was fine that he hadn't recognized her, Thomas rubbed his right eye with his right hand to get rid of the water that threatened to pour out. "I still feel a little bad for not recognizing such a perfect face." He complained, seemingly to himself, about the way things had turned out. When she took a few steps into the room, Tom flicked on the light switch before he also walked away from the bedroom door, making sure to leave it open in case she wanted to walk out. Now that the room was lit by the florescent bulb over head, Thomas could finally see the light socket he had been searching for only a few moment before. He frowned a little at the fact that it had been in a place he had brushed over already.
Scratching the side of his face with his right hand, Thomas made a mental note of where the darker things were in his room to make sure he wouldn't overlook anything later on. When he heard a comment about his room being declared by Pandion, Tom shrugged a little in response. "It was like this when I got here. I'm sure your room is just as nice." Thomas shoved his hands into his jacket pockets, before he rose an eyebrow at what the girl said next. She was being a bother? What had he done to make her think like that? "What gave you that idea? You aren't bothering me one bit. All I would be doing now is unpacking clothes, and trust me, talking to you is a lot more fun than unpacking."He chuckled a little as he walked a little closer and removed his left hand from his pocket so that he could move clear off a spot on his bed.
Taking a step away from the bed, and Pandion, Tom crouched down so that he was sitting on the floor. "You don't have to stand in one place Pandion... You can move around, or sit on the bed or something. I'm not going to bite." He laughed a little, leaving a small smile on his face to emphasis his point. Thomas even made sure his face looked a little more energetic, what with her thinking she was a burden.

XXXXXXXXX𝕻𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝕾𝔦𝔩𝔳𝔞𝔫𝔞 𝕽𝔬𝔰𝔢 ↘ He's tired. she thought as he yawned. She couldn't blame him, it couldn't be very comfortable to sleep in the snow- Whoosh! Turning slightly, she looked towards a window. The storm had begun. She turned her attention back to Thomas as he spoke. "Perfect?" she repeated with a light smile. "Definitely not perfect." Pandion said with a light shake of her head, her blue hair went flying for a moment. "Only if you like. . . brightness." she replied with a giggle. "White and light turquoise." Her room was the exact opposite of this one. She preferred this bright anyway though. Pandion noticed Thomas raise an eyebrow at her. Her face flushed when he began to talk. So she wasn't pestering him? Giving a happier smile, she shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I assumed you might have more important things to do then converse with me." It made her happy though to know that he would rather speak with her. In some way, it suddenly made her feel less lonely.
Maybe this year would be alright. "Thank you." she whispered, shifting her gaze to the floor. It was her turn to raise an eyebrow, "I just. . . I don't want to come off as rude." she replied softly. To just walk into someones room and start looking around or touching things, she had been taught that it was rude. It was better to await permission to do such things first. Well, he gave her permission so she hopped onto the upraised part of the floor and leaned against the edge of the bed gently.
Thomas seemed more lively though she knew that he was probably still tired. Either way though, she became more relaxed. It was easier communicating when she didn't feel as though she was bothering him. Pandion noticed that he also used her first name, though she hated it, she didn't mind when he called her by it as much as she would if someone else used it. "This place might not be all that bad." she commented. At first she had been nervous coming to this school. There had been times were she almost let the other angels talk her out of coming. They all probably thought that she would decide to stay in heaven with them or maybe return home in a few days but she didn't see that happening now. ↖ I love that youre never satisfied. ________________________________________________________________ Out Of Crack[ers] :// . . . Squirming a little in his seated position on the floor, Thomas was a little disheartened by the sound of a storm happening outside. He wasn't so much afraid of the weather, but it was more like it made him feel uncomfortable. He hadn't really thought about it much, but if he wanted to pin a reason to his state of mind, it would probably have something to do his past. Snapping out of his distracting train of thought, the boy looked back up at his new dorm mate. Pandion was saying something about how her room was bright. He had apparently missed something else, but that's what he got for not paying attention. "Really? I like the darker colors..." He shrugged slightly before another gust of wind blew another wave of snow against the window. Shivering just a little, Tom wrapped his arms around himself as he listened to her talk some more.
Shaking his head at what the girl had said, Thomas watched as she spoke about bad things right on after another. Why would he be mad about her coming into his room? Yea, he was somewhat of a social recluse, but that didn't mean he hated having one or two people around. Now, stick him in a crowd of people and Thomas might start to run for the nearest exit, but at the moment he was perfectly fine with this turn of events. "Not at all. You can come in here, touch my things, talk to me, or just do whatever. It's all fine with me." Tom nodded his head once after he had spoken, trying to ignore the raging storm that would hopefully pass soon.
Tom watched as Pandion hopped up onto the raised platform around his bed, and leaned against said bed. He was more than happy to shuffle his way over so that he was sitting a few feet in front of her. He had probably looked like a crab moving, but he didn't really think much of it. "So...What's heaven like?" Thomas proceeded to throw out a quick question, his eye's brightening a little as he asked a question that normally wouldn't have even popped into his head, but now that he thought about it, he hadn't ever met an angel, and curiosity was something that he was abundant in.

Here you are down on your knees again. Trying to find air to breathe again. Only surrender will help you now. I love you please see and believe again. XXXXXXXXX𝕻𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝕾𝔦𝔩𝔳𝔞𝔫𝔞 𝕽𝔬𝔰𝔢 ↘ Thomas seemed uncomfortable. It was because of the storm she bet. She kind of liked storms, in heaven there were none obviously. She loved to dance in the rain and feel it hitting her skin. She liked touching the snow. Pandion enjoyed feeling the warm sun on her skin in the summer, it was all so beautiful and she was an alien to it. "The dark makes me nervous." she admitted softly, staring at the floor as she said it. She had never told anyone that before so why she told Thomas was unknown to even her.
Smiling, she figetted with a strand of her hair, twirling it with her fingers. "T-thank you. You're welcome to my room as well, though you won't find anything of interest." she said with a light laugh. She felt relaxed, happier. And the angels had said that all demons were bad, that wasn't true as she was finding out. He was a nice guy, friendly. Exactly what she needed in a time like this. S
She watched as he stood up to sit on front of her. She giggled softly, he did kind of look like a crab but it was also funny and cute. "Heaven?" she repeated before lifting and dropping her shoulders. "It's huge and bright. Very busy, angels running around everywhere. I'm a guardian angel. " she said, showing a hint of pride as she said it. "There's levels to it really. Depending on what you are ranked you live in different places and do different jobs. Pandion was as careful as possible to not say too much. Then they would get mad with her. No one had really ever asked what heaven was like before. It surprised her that he took an interest in knowing. She wished that she could take him there and give him a tour to show just what she meant but that would make so many issues that it wasn't even worth thinking about it. ↖ I love that youre never satisfied. With face value, wisdom, and happy lies. You take what they say and go back and cry. You were so close to me that you nearly died.
Here you are down on your knees again. Trying to find air to breathe again. Only surrender will help you now. I love you please see and believe again. ▋ ❝ Haha, I always do that. It's cool, I'm glad we can get back to roleplaying ^^ ❞ ▋

________________________________________________________________ Out Of Crack[ers] :// I am too. :3 I don't have work for a few days, so I should be on a lot this week. 3nodding Raising an eyebrow at what she said about the dark making her nervous, Thomas let a small frown play across his lips for only a moment, before he brought his hand up so that his chin was rested against his fist. Personally, he loved the dark. It was calming for some reason. In fact, it was a bright sunny day when he found out his mother had ran away, and that his father had died, so it seemed to leave a lasting mental scar on the boy. "Bright lights make me uncomfortable. So I guess we have a little opposite thing going on there. " He showed a playful smile as he thought about the fact that it was a little amusing. In concept, they were supposed to be complete opposites. He was supposed to be an evil, soul sucking womanizer, while she was supposed to be the type of person that would exorcise him from the planet. That is, if you believed all those old stories.
His gaze was locked on Pandion's hair as she twirled it with her fingers, his electric blue eyes then shifting back to her own icy eyes. Such a contrast. He was the tired and sleepy one, yet he had the more energetic eyes. What was the world coming to, when two people were so different, yet could easily carry on a conversation as if it were nothing. Thomas was definitely acting out of character, or at least he was on that particular day. "You're welcome. I doubt that. I'm sure I'll have loads of fun looking through some of your embarrassing things." He flashed a slightly devious grin, as he let his body fall backwards, until he was lying on his back, with his gaze turned towards the ceiling above.
Apparently he had made her giggle with his little crab walk, but he overlooked it, and closed his eyes as she began to describe a little part of the place she had been raised at. The only place he would never be able to get into, no matter how hard he tried. Humans had it easy. They were able to visit everywhere there was civilization, and then after they died, the could be sent to either heaven or hell. Humans had a choice of where they would go, he would never have that choice, even if he died. "Hmm...Bright huh? That part doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I'm sure it's nicer than what I'm used to. Plus, I like new places." Tom sighed out loud to his own depressing thoughts once again. He could be such a downer sometimes. "Like the feudal system? Would you be in the middle for being a guardian?" Thomas asked another question as he sat up, his eyes showing interest once again. He could probably ask questions for the rest of the night if she let him, and might actually do it if something else didn't come up.

I try to give it all away, but it's never gonna fade It's something I don't wanna face I know you feel it's all the same, But I promise that I'll change.
I know I'm not the perfect one, the pain has just begun It's something I already chase You bring me to a better path, it's everything I asked
There's nothing left! The fear is gone And when my heartstrings come undone, I will wait for you, pray for you.

I love the way that your heart breaks. With every injustice and deadly fate. Praying it only be new. Living like it all depends on you.
Here you are down on your knees again. Trying to find air to breathe again. Only surrender will help you now. I love you please see and believe again. XXXXXXXXX𝕻𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝕾𝔦𝔩𝔳𝔞𝔫𝔞 𝕽𝔬𝔰𝔢 ↘ The way light had an effect with Thomas, darkness had the same effect with her. So many dark memories. The darkness seemed to just swallow up everything and everyone that she cared about. It left an emotional and mental scar needless to say. Biting her tongue, she didn't want to give off too much information about herself but Thomas just made her want to talk. There was something about him, he was so friendly. "I have bad memories of darkness." she whispered, barely loud enough for him to hear. Whether they were opposites or not, it didn't matter. They acted like good friends already and it seemed to be fairly easy to speak with one another. From the beginning, they were supposed to despise each other yet here they were conversing in such a civil manner. Usually, she would have wondered if the angels would be proud of her for getting along with others but she knew that it wouldn't be the case here.
As Thomas lifted his gaze to her eyes, Pandion snapped out of her reverie and returned to reality. His eyes were so bright and energetic, beautiful in fact. She laughed, "Sure." she said, stretching the word out a little. Showing how dubious she was about it. That devious grin of his made her giggle. She watched him fall back, staring at the ceiling. She pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her delicate arms around them loosely. She pried her eyes off of Thomas sne set them on the blankets of his bed.
"You do?" She was rather scared of new places and new people. How could she not be? It was like leaving everything that she was used to behind. There was something about Tom now, he was depressed it seemed. "Yes, a lot like that." She froze, trying to think about how to reply to his second question. She hadn't been treated like she was in the middle, everyone had treated her like an Archangel. Archangels were the strongest and most important of angels. Her mum had been a guardian angel. Her father, Archangel. To say the least, they should have enver mixed but they did. Then when her father found out that his lover was pregnant, he gave up his post as an Arch and became a Guardian to be with her.
"I was treated like an Archangel. . ." she admitted softly, still not knowing how much she could tell him. But she had a feeling that she was floating on thin ice. Obviously the angels didn't want anyone to know that she was anyone important. Even she was clueless as to why they made such a big deal about her. "Archangels are high ranking angels. They. . . they are the bosses of all the others. There's Guardian Angels, who protect the humans. Avenging Angels. . . they destroy any angel who committed a crime. They tear their wings off. The Avenging Angels are really just warriors." she whispered. Now she knew that she was telling him too much. Anyone who couldn't go to heaven shouldn't know so much about it. But when he sat up and she noticed how interested he looked, she wanted to tell him as much as she could. Pandion felt badly that when she left, she may never see him again. ↖ I love that youre never satisfied. With face value, wisdom, and happy lies. You take what they say and go back and cry. You were so close to me that you nearly died.

________________________________________________________________ Out Of Crack[ers] :// New post, and it's bigger than the other ones. :3 To lock away the memories that seemed to want a way out through their conversation, the young Incubus bit down on his tongue, hard. As the irony taste of blood erupted in his mouth, Thomas sighed a breath of relief and swallowed a large mouthful of the metallic tasting liquid. It seemed the best way to forget things was to cause pain, that was always good to know, right? All of the bad things that swam through his demented little mind always wanted an outlet, something they could latch onto and punish him even more for the things that happened in his past. He wasn't sure whether or not he would ever be free from all of his past, but he could at least act like he was happy around his new friend, so Tom flashed her another smile as he listened to her state that darkness was bad for her. "Well, we all have things that kick off our bad memories . . . If you need to talk about it, I'm sure I can at least listen. " Stating so in a soothing voice, Thomas swallowed another mouthful of his own blood, his thought process slowly starting to change back to the matter at hand. He would talk as much as possible to Pandion, then they could at least share some of the pain that they harbored.
When he heard a long and drawn out word come out of Pandion's mouth, Tom chuckled a little. She was doubting his enthusiasm? He would have to teach her a lesson eventually. In complete contrast to what she had just said, he then heard the girl giggle. Why would she giggle? Raising an eyebrow at his own thoughts, Thomas just shook his head to get the problem out of his mind. It didn't really matter why she had giggled, at least he had managed to make her happy for a second or two more. "You'll see." He playfully threatened her, foreshadowing what was to become of her if she didn't put her guard up. He could be a troublesome person if he wanted to, and it seemed like she was one of the people he would want to be troublesome around. Beginning to think up a plan about what he could do, Thomas brought his hands up so that they were behind his head, acting like a pillow.
Nodding to the question that came out of Pandion's mouth next, the boy's eyes traced a small crack in his ceiling. He was the loner kind of person. The only people he had ever been able to get along with were his parents, and his uncle. All of which were dead, or close to it by now. So of course moving around was his thing, being in one place for too long meant getting attached to too many people at once. Humans lived a short and fragile life, so after they died, they would leave Thomas all alone. Can you imagine how bad that would feel? "New places means new memories. New memories means that I get to forget the old ones." Thomas yawned a little after making sure his tongue had healed by itself inside his mouth. That was at least one good thing about being immortal, your wounds were fine as long as you still had your vital organs.
Showing the interest that was so rare of a feeling to him, Tom began to crawl closer to her on his hands and knees, until he was sitting right in front of the elevated surface that the bed sat on, the entire time he was doing this, she was talking. There were only certain things that could get him this interested, and it just so happened that one of them was learning about new places. He had managed to travel to almost all of the well known countries after he had left his home town, and now were only a few places on the planet he wasn't quite able to get into. Now that he could learn about a place he would never see, he would milk as much information out as possible. "So, you were given more authority than the others around you? That doesn't sound like it would be allowed. Did something special happen?" Asking in as stable a tone of voice as possible, Tom didn't look tired at all anymore, in fact, he looked as if he could have ran a marathon. He was also no longer nervous around Pandion. She was sharing information with him that he had never hoped of hearing, so he couldn't help but trust her with all he had. His mouth open slightly in anticipation of what she might say next, Thomas nodded in understanding when she explained the difference between the three levels they used to separate the angels. An Incubus was one of the higher class demons, but he was no where near as important as some of the Arch Demons, and yet he was sitting in front of someone that was supposedly just as important as an Arch Angel, he felt like he was in a position that would never happen again, and it made him happy . . .
