The Dancing Shinobi While I was in boot camp, and we were getting ready for our training on the rifle range (with M-16 A2s), my Senior Drill Instructor brought in his personal AR-15 (The civilian version of the M-16) to show us.
Let me explain something first, my Senior was part of the Marine Corps rifle team, and instead of wearing a rifle badge like we do, he wears MEDALS. The man has scored a perfect score on the recruit range, which is 250 points. eek
Anyway... his AR-15 is 15 pounds, twice the normal weight, and has a stainless steel barrel and a massivley fine hair trigger. The slightest bit of pressure on that trigger sets it off. surprised That gun was beautiful. do you know what company made it and 15 pounds is alot for a gun, but since he was a sharp-shooter he probably liked the weight, it would help keep the gun on target after he took a shot

stands for siminov something something bascily siminov repeating rifle it was the predecssor to the ak-47 and sorta the actual first assualt rifle (before the german mp 44/stg44) it shot a 7.62x39 (a russian .30 cool which is what the ak 47 uses it comes with a 10 round clip, but you can add a 20, 30, or 40 round detachable mags with a little tinekring (no gunsmithing required), you can pick them up here in the us for about 140 dollars, a good buy, everyone should won one accruate up to 400 yards, and cheaper than the ak it was used by the chinese military heavily, for while the ak was better designed a little bit, it was more costly and not as accurate, so the sks got the job done considered also to be a "assualt rifle" (i think the term assault rifle is used by people who dont know what they are talking about, assault rifles are defined by their asthetic appeal rather than their funcational capabilities, thus its used by anti-gun lobyists to describe any gun they think is more dangerous, based on the premis of looks (ie that gun looks scary or deadly, liek thats a good reason) in short its a dman good rifle and i got mine with a folding stock on it biggrin

marxs_22 I want a sniper rifel, just not sure which........ sweatdrop what good is a sniper rifle it you cant use it the most accurate rilfes are bolt action ones (go with a mosin nagant for about 80 bucks, sportotrize it, add a scope, it shoots a 7.62x54 which is a big round) or if you must have a semi, go with the svd/draganouv russian thing, it also shoots a 7.62x54, but it is alot mor eexpensive, around 600-800 dollars
